Love this place. As long as you avoid any of the obvious things that have bread or tortillas, you're good to go. I absolutely LOVE the Sardi's Salmon dish. I've had salmon many times at other establishments and this one is hands-down my favorite.
I visited the location in Bowie and was told that the chicken is marinated in beer, therefore it's not gluten free. Just be sure to ask the proper questions before ordering. I decided not to eat anything and was glad the management knew that gluten isn't just in flour.
Most Peruvian chicken restaurants have gluten free options, as wheat isn't part of their ingredients. Ask about shared fryers for french fries and yucca and stay away from the sauces. Chicken is delicious !
Sadly the chicken is marinated in soy sauce and beer. Most of everything here is cross contaminated. I used to eat here the food was incredible so sad I cannot anymore.

I got glutened when I ate at this place. The chicken is dipped in beer and the staff is not educated on allergens.
No
Not the best place or easiest place for those trying to avoid gluten.
Though the food was good, there is an English barrier with most of the staff. When asked what the chicken was marinated in a guy pointed to the chickens that were all turning in their heater. I had to point to the marinating process and ask again. He didn’t know and had to go ask. All the chicken is out due to being marinated in beer. But i was able to get them to cook a salmon with nothing being marinated on it which worked great on a salad.
Definitely not a place that i would recommend for celiacs even though i could make something work for me thankfully I’m not celiac.
