My favorite place in Lincoln now, gf & not. The food menu is small but it has BREAD AND OIL so that was enough to sell me. The cider sneaks up on you so if you drink, plan to eat (duh) and take it slow (but of course it is also delicious and there is a NA option). Definitely give them a go!! Dedicated gf. Friendly staff. Weekly events including trivia and live bands.

Wow, I finally know what its like to walk into a bar and have OPTIONS! (FINALLY!)
The staff is super well-informed about their ciders and very careful when it comes to preparing and serving any food to avoid any cross-contamination. After visiting with an employee I learned that one of the founders of Saro was diagnosed with celiac's which then inspired them to start exploring a bunch of diverse flavor profiles and create something that is both an accessible and exciting alternative to craft beers. The atmosphere is really welcoming and intimate, and appeals to a wide spectrums of palettes as far as their ciders and cocktails go. 10/10 I would totally recommend checking it out!

Our locally made hard ciders are made in a dedicated gluten-free facility. We are dedicated to a gluten free experience - our founder is a celiac who missed having beer, so we craft less sweet, more flavorful hard ciders to enjoy with our gluten free small bites. Here at Saro, we love travel and what it means. (Who doesn’t love a vacation!) To us travel means adventure and exploration. Whether you’re camping in a US National Park, backpacking through Europe or sitting on your favorite beach, travel is always a great opportunity to meet new people, learn different cultures, experience new food and drink. Much like we’ve lingered over our travels, we’ve lingered over new cider flavors. Our ciders mean taste exploration. We hope you linger over our cider and take your tastebuds on a journey with Saro.

The staff was so friendly. The ciders were delicious (tried a flight so I could try multiple ciders). Celiac friendly. 10/10.
