Dedicated gluten free zones are promised and I haven’t gotten sick here. Not flavorful but consumable and safe so 5 star review for practicality

Slow service and few decent options. Used to be a favorite place to go, but it needs updating and mgmt improvements. I gave it another star because Sydney our server who was friendly. The 1/2 plate of nachos with extra lettuce was filling.

I would love to to give this restaurant 5 stars. Because the service is great and the food is delicious. But They don't let there customers know they don't have a dedicated frier and we ordered the onion string's . Which were suppose to be vegan and gluten free. It was not gluten free and my 4 year old little girl got a horrible gluten headache, bloated , and stared to get really warm after she ate. The same symptoms my husband and my little girl get after having gluten. It breaks my heart as a mom and a wife to see my loves deal with restaurants not being careful.

They don't really have very many GF options. Saturn burger is GF but they won't modify for any of the other burger options with the Saturn patty. Large portions and food is OK but very slow service. Tomato soup is excellent.

Loved Saturn for many years - and its safe - we and other celiacs we know eat there with no issues.

Our family came here after a false start elsewhere. Casual diner atmosphere with nice big booths. Big selling point was getting gf fries for my son (like gold). I checked and they said seperate fryer. Also had vegan cheese and gf bread. Lots of gf choices listed on menu. Food was okay. Not a destination place but nice to have option of safe food when in area, especially fries.

Woah what Cindy said is not true they are clean and do very well with cross contamination if you ask them about it. I love going here for a quick cheap order of nachos or onion rings and its fried in rice oil very good food for a decent price but be warned it is only vegetarian so don't go expecting meat

The atmosphere didn't mix well with the food. It was hard for me to enjoy my meal, which wasn't even good in the first place. Wouldn't recommend. Mediocre food, old restaurant and I felt yucky when I left. Will not return. I'm embarrassed that this is still even open.

Great "far out" place! Lots of GF options, and the entire menu us vegetarian.

Saturn Cafe has the coolest staff, and the coolest atmosphere. Their gluten free menu has quite a bit on it. They have "comfort" food, but in a fast food style. Its definitely a staple of gluten free (and vegan) Santa Cruz.
