Stay away! My family and I went to get sandwiches there in the summer. Two celiacs and two non-celiacs in our crew. We ordered four sandwiches with two on GF bread and said we had a gluten allergy. They took forever to make so I went and stood by the kitchen to see what was happening. I watched the person preparing the sandwiches make my wife’s sandwich then put my gf bread down on the exact spot where he had just made the normal bread sandwich. No wiping down. Not even aware that he should not be making a GF sandwich on top of bread crumbs. After getting our sandwiches I went up to the person at the counter to mention what happened. She rudely said “they are gluten free. I cannot help you.” So we left and had to throw out the sandwiches. Worst GF experience ever.
— Not at all
The GF baked goods are obviously not safe. They’re sold from the same shelves, with glutenous cookies etc often directly above the GF items. The cashier didn’t understand what celiac disease was when I asked about it. I didn’t get anything but coffee. Would recommend people with celiac or any sensitivity to cross-contamination go elsewhere.

They have delicious food and will slice the gf bread separately if asked (to avoid cc in bread slicer) but I have had reactions the last two times I have eaten here. I would not say it’s safe for celiacs due to cc concerns.

Server mentioned separate equipment for gf food. Got a great omelette with gf bread.
Yes
Went for baked goods and saw that the gluten free were mixed amongst the regular ol' gluten goods. Due to being very sensitive to cross contamination I didn't risk getting anything. I wish they kept the GF seperated.
No
The sandwiches are not remotely safe for someone with Celiac. They use the same slicer that they use for wheat bread and it’s covered in crumbs. Weirdly it seems that aside from that they’re actually pretty careful about cross contamination. They have all separate pans for baking GF and they clean the surfaces and utensils before preparing GF food. We have eaten their bread for years, but we slice it ourselves at home. It has to be toasted but is awesome if freshly toasted. Their meals are mostly GF. My favorite is the Brazilian Plate. You can also order meals family style in advance and ask them to prepare safe for Celiac and they will. (You need to give them 2 days notice.) 4 stars because of the shared slicer.
Yes
Staff states that they use the same bread slicer for wheat bread and gluten free bread and that anything prepped in the kitchen is at risk for cross contact. Plenty of gluten free options for those without celiac.

4 GF bakery items, plus GF bread and some GF salads. Great place for a treat for this celiac mom and daughter! The cheesecake minis were excellent.
We come every year and this year has been a disappointment. Very dry inedible GF baked goods
A must-stop for GF MV visitors.
Scottish Bakehouse has a special gluten-free baker on staff who has used the bakery as her playground to create an array of tasty gluten-free offerings. They have muffins, breads, cupcakes, cookies and more.
Great place with tons of options! It's a little out of the way but worth the trip. Lots of yummy muffins, breads, cookies, etc. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options as well.

Delicious GF breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Always a stop on our vacation.

I had an excellent chocolate cupcake with coconut frozing. They had a large choice of muffins, cookies etc.

Just had a very good GF bacon egg and cheese sandwich for lunch. Service was very friendly. Not crazy fast, but that is only because they made it to order, so no longer than if I had to make it myself. GF bread was also vegan and had good texture and flavor. Triple berry muffin was a tad on the dry side but again the flavor was good. I will go there again.
Terrible service!!! I don't care if they were the only gluten free restaurant/ small out of the way bakery on the island. Service comes first!!!!! They weren't even sure they had gluten free bread and I called two days before to make sure!! Nothing special.
Excellent Gf menu, breakfast sandwich to die for
