Review of Seafood Sam's

My wife and I are here and were very unsatisfied with how they handle allergies. When we placed our order my wife ordered the broiled swordfish and steamed broccoli. She told the girl taking the order that she was allergic to dairy and gluten. After ringing us up she hung up the ticket in front of the cook who was standing directly behind her and walked away without saying anything to him. I looked at our ticket and while the broccoli said "no butter" there was no indication that there was any special dietary requirements. I then told the cook that the swordfish order had to be gluten and dairy free, which he didn't realize. The manager than told us that the swordfish was pre-marinated in butter. After a lengthy discussion with the manager and cook we realized this restaurant is not prepared to handle serving food to people with food allergies. We ended up cancelling her order and they got mad at us. If you have a food allergy or special diet needs to not go here, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area.
