Unsure
I wasn’t super sure about their abilities so even though they had GF bread for sandwiches and burgers I didn’t go for it. I just had a salad. Salad was tasty!
Non- gluten free food was very good for the others in my party.

Have been to the Old Port location three times in the summer of 2019. The first time was a slow weekday evening. Loved my meal and had no issues. The second, lunchtime and not busy; didn't care for my meal, but had no issues. The third time it was busy. The food was not bad but nothing special. This time I got very sick and felt horrible for two and a half days. Each time I spoke with the server prior to ordering but didn't grill them about their practices.

Looks like some things maybe have changed based on past reviews. All menu items that were gluten free or had a gluten free option were marked. I had crab cakes that were GF - something I had not yet found until now! They were amazing. GF buns or lettuce wraps were available for burgers.
Knowledgeable staff and GF menu items!
Really annoyed. Have eaten here more than once and didn’t really experience issues but tried to today and it was first time someone even mentioned cross contamination and it not being safe. Guess I will cross them off my list. Not sure why they even bother offering all this GF.

No true gluten free menu, although they do offer gluten free buns. Had a grass fed burger, wrapped in lettuce and it was yummy. Sadly, their fries are not gluten free, so left still hungry.
Four of us went to dinner. Two of us were celiacs. Both of us got contaminated on different entrees. I would not return there. We even had dirty plates and dirty utensils served to us. There are plenty of safe places to eat. I recommend you find somewhere else.
Sat in bar and bartender was very nice. However things labeled on the menu as GF were not. She said they did not have a dedicated fryer.
Menu includes many GF options including crab cakes..Delicious! GF options are clearly on the menu.
I had the gluten free chicken tenders buffalo style for an appetizer. Super delicious! Then I had the peanut butter with bacon and brie cheese burger with a gf bun. Also phenomenal! I have celiac and thought I was in the clear! Nope, it made me sick :(

I had one the best grass fed gluten free burgers I’ve ever had here. Knowledgeable staff and delicious GF buns for burgers and sandwiches. Mashed potatoes were very good as well.
Finally a place with gluten free crab cakes! Delicious

Super helpful! I’m also allergic to dairy and onion and they found something for me to eat. They went through all of the ingredients of different dishes to determine if I was allergic to any part of the meal and found me a dish that would work!

Have 5 year old and 2 year old with celiac. No dedicated fryer, but we’re very knowledgeable and careful with GF bun for burger. The kids loved it. It was very soft (not like most GF buns). Limited choices for GF kids beyond burger, but great easy option while in Portland (especially if mom and dad need a drink!)

All the gf options were excellent!
Have been here twice-they have a separate gf menu which is nice. White bean chicken chili was delicious, good gluten free hamburger buns. Chicken tenders weren't my favorite. They have downeast hard cider as well which is good. Fairly reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in Portland.

GF options identified and no issues for my son. Waitstaff friendly. Over food and atmosphere was ok.

I really enjoy going to Sebago. The atmosphere is great, especially the outdoor patio in the summer. The GF menu has a lot to choose from and I truly never feel deprived. All the servers are very willing to check ingredients and answer questions. The White Chicken Chili is fantastic!!
Really great option for lunch.
Food was great and lots of GF options! Though they served bread on my naked calamari which we had to send back but they were very accommodating and apologetic.
Yes
Very little gluten-free fryer is not gluten-free so fries and chips are not gluten-free. Menu does not say they have gluten-free pizza even though website says they do. Menu had date of 4/25 we went on end of July website was updated only 2 items gluten-free.

I am celiac and eat at the Elm Street Gorham location frequently. GF options marked on menu, gf buns available. I’ve never had any issues. There is not a GF fryer.

A few gf items, not a horrible selection. I got the bowl and told them about cross contamination for me but ended up being glutened. Not happy about it right now.

Limited options but staff was very well versed when discussing allergies. They were able to adjust my meal to accommodate me.

Very disappointed in the menu. You can have salad, hamburgers (but no gluten free bun listed). They have an $18 flatbread. No dedicated fryer. If you’re used to being disappointed by gluten free restaurants that aren’t really celiac safe, this is just another in the long line. The do have a peanut butter dessert that is naturally gf, though, so there’s that.
