July 2023 seriously so good!!!!! I had a chili cheese dog, truffle parm fries and onion rings. It was delicious!!!

Oct 2023 Back again for hummus appy and fish and chips... delicious !!!

April 2024 had a shared trio of apps. Boneless pork bites, chicken wings and poutine. So good!

Have been several times now to this dedicated GF resto… and have not been disappointed! My guilty pleasure are the onion rings but all the dishes and appies I’ve tried have been great. Easy to get to and lots of room every time we’ve come.

We stopped in here on our way from Canmore to Edmonton and I loved it! The atmosphere was so nice, our waitress was so kind and the food was amazing. We were the only ones in the restaurant (7:30pm on a Sunday) and we got to know our waitress. She was kind and it was so nice knowing that our food is 100% gluten free. They even offered us a free dessert since it was my boyfriend’s birthday! If we weren’t stuffed from all the delicious food we would have definitely accepted!

I love that this place is dedicated gf, but both times I tried it, I was disappointed. It may have been my menu selections, which were chicken wings and fish and chips, and the tacos. I don’t think the deep fryer oil was hot enough because the food was soggy and just didn’t taste fresh.

I’ll try again one day and will branch out of the deep fried selections because I really want to like it!!

I had the pork tacos with parm fries and calamari appetizer. The restaurant is completely gluten free so I was able to pick anything from the menu. I had my order for take out but the restauraunt seemed nice when I picked it up. Four of us ate there, I am the only Celiac in the group. The food was tasty but we unanimously agreed that it was a tiny bit on the greasy side.

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Calgary. All the food is GF and delicious. We had the calamari, onion rings and Brussels sprouts for appetizers, and I had the Bang Bang Burger (crispy chicken/beef patty) with truffle parmesan fries and hush puppies for dessert. This is a celiac’s dream because they have everything you wouldn’t be able to order at most restaurants, with no chance of cross contact with gluten. The only thing I would change is the location because it’s so far north (for me), but the atmosphere is nice once you’re there, with a really nice patio.

Flavourless fish & chips; yucky frozen, mass-produced fries. Burned crème brûlée. Their Hushpuppies will NEVER be delicious beignets - their whipped cream comes from a can, sadly no berries compote on the side even though on the menu. I was excited to have a safe, gluten-free restaurant nearby; but, I can cook more flavourful, fresh, appetizing food at home. Was hoping to enjoy a break from my kitchen, but Selia is not for me. My suggestion is that the chefs attend a refresher at culinary college where the use of a torch and the value of seasonings as well as using fresh food is taught.

My husband and I had burgers and parm fries, and we also tried the tartare. All of it was so delicious and we had a nice conversation with the waitress about how much of a fan we are of the fact that this place is 100% gluten free and for once we didn’t have to worry during dinner. Fantastic!

Restaurant is 100% gluten free. Great food, this is my favourite restaurant & I'm not GF but family members are. Great for kids, adults. I have had the wings, calamari, fish & chips & it’s fantastic. The hush puppies are awesome as well. Burgers are really good, but you can get GF burgers in a lot of places. Super friendly staff. I haven’t had any drinks there but they also looked good as well, lots of gf beer & other drinks.

5 star worthy. Daylan and his crew know how to do it right. The food was enjoyed by all including non celiacs who thought the food was also amazing. They go out of there way to make your dining experience enjoyable. We will definitely be back when we visit again.

As a person with celiac disease it can be challenging to find restaurants that offer gluten-free food. Selia Bar has a completely gf menu and safe kitchen! Beware, the cider on tap is not 100% gf, there is cross contamination from the draft lines. That aside, wonderful restaurant, delicious food, friendly service. Would recommend and will be returning.

We shared a burger, crispy chicken burger and poutine, super happy with all of the food. The kitchen is totally gluten free, they do serve gluten beverages from the bar but take care to separate and sanitize. Don’t let the exterior location turn you away, inside the restaurant has a great ambiance perfect for a family dinner to date night. Person who took my call in advance was patient and happy to answer all of my questions in detail, Waitress started by asking about any allergies, looking forward to trying more of the menu, and really hoping the add calamari back!

All gluten free food menu, with gluten free beer also available. Very expansive drinks menu: smoothies, cocktails, wine, floats. Fries are very good. Portions are not excessive and filling. Very nice, relaxed setting. We sat next to the windows overlooking pool and parking lot. A bit late in Sept but they will serve the pool as well, which can be accessed thru gym. Not much traffic by this location. Please support!

This restaurant is 100% gluten free and amazing! Loved the atmosphere and the service was outstanding. We had the onion rings, Al Pastor tacos (amazing flavour with grilled pineapple & a bit of a kick) with fries, Steak Frites & the benieghs (fried doughnuts with chocolate & vanilla dipping sauce. The fries are possibly the best I’ve ever had!

All of the food is 100% gluten free! Only some of their drinks contain gluten. Service was great. The brussel sprouts and fried chicken were really good. The location is a bit odd (attached to a gym) but once you're inside the restaurant you wouldn't know! It's really nicely decorated and have a great elevated patio!
