Shaka Taco

Food was good and the wait staff was on it. They separated the GF food from the non and marked it “celiac”. Unfortunately, the corn tacos are made on the same grill as the flour so tacos were off limits for celiac. Sounded like the pork and ground beef was also not GF. Chips are in a dedicated fryer so chicken, shrimp and steak nachos are available. Queso was good. Wings are also good to go.

We have always loved Shaka Taco but now even more with how Celiac friendly they are. My daughter was able to have the nachos - tortilla chips are cooked separately, no cross contamination, and the meat/queso are also all GF. We let the person who took our order about her allergy.

Another great visit to Shaka Taco (probably have been 30+ times). I’ve had most of the bowls and everything I’ve eaten has been great and safe.

The owners and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about GF and accommodate “allergies” extremely well. They have the kitchen change gloves and will change anything on the menu to accommodate allergies or preferences.

Chips are now fried in a dedicated fryer, so they are now gluten free and are delicious!

I had the corn tortilla with chicken for dinner one night and had chicken nachos for lunch later in the week. Both were very good. You have to tell them upon ordering your allergy.

i got a cheese quesadilla with a corn tortilla with chips and salsa and it was really good. would recommend (especially for picky eaters) not 100% sure about the precautions they take but i didn’t get sick.

Good nachos. Chips are made from corn tortillas and fried in separate fryer. Most of the toppings are gluten free (pork and carne asada are not). Recommend take out rather than eat in. There are a lot of flies.

Had the veggie tacos... SO GOOD! Chips and queso on the side. Chips were 100% gf and even fryer friendly. Great place and can’t wait to go back and try the other items on the menu!

Love this place. We decided to eat here twice on our recent beach visit due to how tasty the food is and how wonderful the staff is. Chicken taco was good, but the nachos were better. Overall everything is delicious and very affordable. Bonus points for being dog friendly :)

The tacos and nachos do not disappoint. Just request corn tortillas. Ingredients are extremely fresh! In fact, the chicken tacos are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Enjoy!

Staff was very friendly and explained that there was a separate fryer for chips/wings and that the only things not gf were the fish and flour tortillas. Great tacos and awesome atmosphere!
