Excellent menu options and dishes are clearly marked as gluten free with a flag from the kitchen. The staff are knowledgeable and the food is great. We eat here regularly and I have never gotten sick.

We have quickly become frequent fliers at Shanghai Bistro. They are SO reliable with great food and safety with gluten. They have a large variety of GF options and everything is marked. I personally love the Pad Thai but have had a lot of the other options which have always been delicious.

Because of the good reviews, I decided to try it and I was very happy with my experience! I got the chicken pad Thai and didn't have a reaction. The food is spicy so just be prepared when you order. If you aren't a fan, you might request less spice!

I ordered the Pad Thai from the the gluten free menu and did not have any reactive symptoms which I typically get within an hour from accidentally consuming gluten. My dish also came out marked as GF. Enough to eat for lunches the following days as well! Just keep in mind it’s SPICY, I will be asking for less chili spice next time :)

Ask for the separate gluten free menu when you are seated. They are great about marking food that GF and explained right away that friers were shared so certain items would not be celiac safe, to stick to stir fry/single pan items since they could better control cross contamination. Very knowledgeable waitstaff.

I ordered gluten free chicken pad Thai and I got sick. I went here because of so many good reviews so maybe it was a fluke and I was unlucky that day, but I definitely won't be back. it wasn't worth being sick for 3 days from eating gluten.

Amazing experience at Shanghai Bistro! This place has a separate gluten free menu with honestly quite a few options. I loved the Pad Thai and Sesame Chicken! Dishes were noted gluten free when they were served to the table. Side note— I also loved the robot that delivered our food!

After talking to the staff I learned that while they have a gluten-free menu which offers battered dishes (like sesame chicken) their fryer is NOT gluten-free. When I informed them I had celiac they advised that I stay away from any dish that contained ‘battered’ chicken, etc even if was listed on the gluten free menu. I was informed they thoroughly clean the woks between preparing each and every dish so any non-breaded dishes listed on the GF menu and created in a wok would be safe. My family tried a variety of dishes. I would say their gluten-free fried rice and sushi would be worth coming back for. The most important part was that I didn’t get sick.

We really enjoyed this restaurant and best of all they gladly welcome dogs on their patio. We tried a sushi roll that was similar to a California roll yet it had a different name. Also had the bacon fried rice and kung pao chicken. The whole meal was delicious and safe. They have good knowledge of gluten free and take great care to make things safe. At this time they do not have a dedicated frier but are working on it so avoid anything battered for now if you are Celiac.

They updated their gluten free menu! However the battered items are in a shared fryer so if you can’t have cross contamination avoid those. They plan to get a seperate gluten free fryer. Great options and pho too!

Best sushi in area. Has a lot of selection on GF menu for Chinese and Japanese. Friendly staff, including a fun serving robot! Usually packed- call ahead to make a reservation. My husband with celiac and lactose intolerance did not get ill (Ordered beef and broccoli stir fry GF menu).

FRYER IS GLUTEN CONTAINING! Beware of the fried dishes on the gluten free menu. They have a shared fryer only at this time.

Gluten free menu including fried entrees like sesame chicken. The cashew chicken is amazing. GF sushi menu as well.

Menu items are marked if GF. Love the cashew chicken made with GF soy sauce.
