Shark Shack Beach Bar & Grill

Not a good experience. I looked up the menu on their website and read other reviews before going. It seemed like it would be decent. Nope. Server knew nothing about gluten and was very uninterested in helping me figure out my options. I didn’t feel safe or taken care of. I ended up ordering red fish with rice and veggies which was good….but have had a stomach ache most of the evening.

— Below Average

When we arrived I asked the hostess about GF options and was assured I would be able to get some safe options even though they don’t have a GF menu. Then the waitress told me completely differently and basically said there was nothing but bunless burgers. I asked about the tacos and she went back and forth trying to ask the kitchen before saying that I could have them with no sauce. We ended up just leaving as I didn’t feel safe and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on bland sauceless tacos. Also, my husband is vegetarian and had almost no options either. Avoid if you have celiac.

Ordered the seafood Cobb without crab because sometimes that isn’t GF! But the shrimp didn’t effect me at all! I got balsamic dressing

No GF menu but asked and waitstaff and kitchen staff were super on top of things. Had the redfish tacos, came back to say the rice wasn’t safe, so I had double veggies which were cooked differently than identical veggies on a non-GF plate. Bar staff also helpful, had the sexy Mexican margarita. No issues with anything but I’m only 4 weeks into a new Celiac diagnosis, not sure if I would respond to low cross contamination.

Wow! All I can say is amazing food. My husband had the red fish tacos and daughter had the truffle hamburger without a bun. French fries and homemade chips are not gf but the green beans and carrots well surpassed any vegetable I have ever had!!

I am a Celiac. Ordered the Red Fish Tacos. Server checked with the chef before taking the order. Service was friendly and helpful. I would eat here again.

The staff is very GF aware and were able to advise me what was safe and what wasn’t. Had delicious shrimp and fish tacos with a wonderful GF Cherry Cider. NO negative reactions. Just a 10/10 experience. HIGHLY Recommend
