Amazing ambiance and okay Indian food. Service can be good or not depending on the day. Great drinks.

Very friendly and great customer service.
Food was very spicy and okay quality. It wasn’t good Indian food. But if you just want an establishment that understands allergies, this is your place!:)

I’ve eat at Sherkaan quite often, and I love their food. There are a lot of GF options, including vegetarian, and the staff take care not to cross-contaminate. If you are celiac, you should definitely let your server know and double check, but on both my visits all items marked gf on the menu were celiac-safe. Highly recommend!!
Update: The dedicated fryer *should* be safe. There was some confusion about that for a while, so definitely ask your server about it if cross-contamination is a problem for you.

Had a great experience here when I came to visit friends. Called ahead of time and was assured they could accommodate me, they told me that maybe I should stay away from the tandoor dishes as that’s made in near the naam. I wasn’t 100% sure about the fryer, they did say it was gf but I had read the mixed review on here. So I opted for a kale Caesar salad without chickpeas (those were fried) and a side of chole. Both were really good. I got my food first for safety reasons and my server was really on top of it. Kitchen staff that brought my meal out were also very assuring. Lovely!

Waitress was very informed and helpful, and seemed to have a special way in her order - taking device to indicate Celiac. Menu indicated GF. Doesn't actually have a dedicated fryer or kitchen area, but will clean the grill or change the oil for your order. I decided cleaning the grill would work, but avoided fried things (waitress understood and helped me identify which things to avoid). Food was AMAZING, I especially recommend the palak paneer dosa.
I'm not a vegetarian, but was with many who were. There were plenty of vegetarian options and a decent number of vegan options. Would love to visit again.
I am celiac and very careful because I know I'd get damage even if I don't get symptoms, but I don't always notice symptoms from trace amounts of cross contamination, so I might not actually know if I got glutened. I felt fine the next day.
