Their injera is 100% teff and gluten free. Main dishes are GF too. The appetizer is NOT gluten free. Staff is nice and helpful. However, when it’s busy service suffers.
Also, if you are with someone who is not Celiac and orders the appetizer, suddenly it becomes dangerous for the person with Celiac (me). The first time I came here, they brought out the appetizer well in advance of the food (that way my partner could wash his hands, etc). The second time I was here, they brought it out just minutes before the main dish. I noticed that everyone else around us were not served in this manner. Needless to say, I was VERY annoyed, but my partner and I took precautions.
While we did order other drinks we never had any water served to our table. Other tables had a bottle of water on them.
There are so many other Ethiopian/Etrian restaurants much closer to me that I don’t think it’s worth making the trek back to this place. I won’t be coming back here.
