We have loved Smokies for years. They truly understand celiac preparation! They offer gluten free bread as an option also. I’ve never had an issue, they are great workers! FYI, some days they sell out of ribs, so call ahead or better go early on the weekend.

Staff very knowledgeable. Marked my ticket with a “C” to indicate Celiac and prevent cross contamination and to make sure the bun wasn’t grilled. All of the meat is GF and they have GF buns. The GF bun is smaller than the regular and one of the best I’ve ever had. The smoked ham was amazing.

Excellent BBQ! I asked for ribs with no toast because of gluten. Server said they had GF bread and asked if I was celiac. When I said yes, she made a note on the order. Great food and celiac-friendly. Pretty cool for a small restaurant!

Delish. My daughter said the ham and cheese sandwich was 'life changing'. Their gf buns were better than the regular buns!! The barbecue was excellent, too.

Gluten free bread and GF choices! Sides are gf, sometimes have safe desserts as well.

I was so excited to try this place. I told the server I was celiac and had to eat gf. I ordered my gf meal and it was brought out with regular bread. It looked like regular bread, so I asked the server about it and sure enough, it was. So, they took my plate back to the kitchen and brought out a new one. I ate everything because it was so good. I got sick within an hour.

Smokie's BBQ is the best! I love the gf bread . I have to pay close attention to the sauces. Not only can I not have gluten, I can't have corn syrup nor H F corn syrup, which makes choosing bbq sauce difficult. the servers are very helpful and friendly.

Fabulous BBQ! The gluten free bread comes either as Texas toast or a bun. The Texas toast was really good bread that didn't fall apart with BBQ sauce on it. The homemade BBQ beans were the best I've tasted. Love their side choices for Celiacs. Definitely will be going back often.

Oh my....VERY VERY GOOD! This is a must try. Great BBQ, GF bread, GF sides, and GF desserts. The owner came by to talk to us and the staff was superb. I was so excited to have a dessert it had been a while since going GF and trying to limit sugar. I just can't say enough good things about Smokies. YUM!

Wow, this is good barbecue.

Their brisket and pork are delicious and sliced really thin. The sauces are great, too. The atomic slaw was amazing.

The staff is knowledgeable about their GF options (of which there were lots)

One thing I'd like to advise. If you are very sensitive or have Celiac please ask to have your GF bread untoasted since we use one toaster. Fed my family of four for less than just about anywhere else including drinks and tip. We all had some of the best bbq we've ever had and came home full. They even have GF bread without an upcharge. Service was good too. If the tables were a little bigger I would give 5 stars.

this place is EXCELLENT!! The owner is gluten free and most items in menu are gluten free. Smokies is a BBQ joint with amazing food and very friendly & helpful staff. Fryers are not dedicated so anything that is fried isn't GF. GF desserts are also offered.
