Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

It pains me to write this negative review because of the other good reviews that came before me, but I had a pretty terrible experience today as someone with celiac. There was no GF menu or markings of what could be made GF, and I got conflicting information about what was/wasn’t gluten free from different servers (and even from the same server). I also have a dairy allergy which further complicated things and led to even more conflicting reports of what could be safely prepared. Contrary to what a prior reviewer said, my food did not come out flagged as GF. Server didn’t seem knowledgeable whatsoever and made no effort to really even ask or clarify to assure me that I’d be taken care of (he asked me if potatoes have gluten). I want to give them one more shot another time and hope it was just an off day but overall it was a very disappointing experience.

Pancakes and bacon were amazing. Staff was very knowledgeable and food comes out with a gluten free flag. Almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free so the variety of options was very high.

The food comes out with a gluten free flag which is nice. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered here and recommend the sweet potato pancakes!

Server knew about gluten allergies. No GF menu but they can make about anything GF except the loco moco, crab cake eggs Benedict, and one of the pancakes. Latte was delicious. Service was a little slow. I ordered the monte cristo and it was not exactly as described probably due to the GF bread. Didn’t get sick.

This place was right down the street from our hotel and it advertised gluten-free. When we got there they were extremely knowledgeable and we ate there two more times after that! Excellent service. Excellent food. What more could you ask for?

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. The pancakes are so fluffy! I've never ran into as good of pancakes that are GF as these are. Very knowledgeable staff.

I ordered the Signature Pancake Flight and it was wonderful. You can choose the 3 flavors you prefer and it was plenty of food. All but 2 menu items can be made GF. Neat place as well, enjoyed outside sitting. Definitely give this a try. A little pricey but food was great.
