My fiance went through the whole celiac introduction and got a gluten free menu from the waiter. We noticed right away that at the bottom of the menu it mentioned cheese and vinegars used in the gluten free menus items does in fact contain trace amounts of gluten. We should’ve left right there, but still ordered the tortilla soup and a taco while mentioning explicitly not to use any of the vinegar and keep cheese off the order. An hour later my fiancé was throwing up, and believed it was cross contamination in the kitchen. If you’re celiac, choose somewhere else
