There is no gluten free menu, although if you want to eat there just stay with the barbecued meats, the sauce they use is gluten free but the rest of the items on their menu are not
We ate here about 3 weeks ago, based on the review that said they have a GF menu. They do not. The manager came out and advised us to stay away from the fried foods if we want to avoid gluten, but could not tell us if any wheat based flavorings were used in the food. We ate at our own risk. Could not say whether it bothered us as we'd had other opportunities to be glutened while traveling. Long story short, be cautious.

All I could eat (GF) was BBQ chopped brisket sans bun, No GF buns, and Cole slaw. Portion is not big.

The smoked meats was good, but I guess we were expecting more from a bbq joint in Texas. The manager was very helpful, and identified all the GF items on the menu for us. We’d eat here again.

Food is celiac friendly. I am used to St. Louis and Kc style bbq, wasn’t a fan of this bbq except for the brisket and it was delicious. Baked beans are chuck wagon style (think peppers instead of bbq sauce and meat) coleslaw tasted store bought. My friend got the ribs and they were terribly dry. 2 sauce choices the “vinegar based” one tastes like ketchup and mustard mixed together. The original has a pepper Smokey back, mixed together they don’t taste too bad. Brisket can stand alone without sauce

This place can be kind of hit or miss but it’s one of the only places I could still eat pretty freely after learning of my celiac disease so I take my chances. Plus my mom always tells me how my grandfather would take her to this exact place for lunch when she was my age so I love the history of it. I don’t suggest this for anyone who isn’t willing to take a chance of getting sick but for the 2.5 years I’ve been eating here, I’ve only been sick maybe twice.
