Food was good (expensive!), and I felt so well taken care of. Whenever they brought something I ordered to the table, they’d say it was GF and celiac-safe, without any prompting. They seemed well informed and like they truly cared about keeping me safe. Felt like dining out pre-celiac!

Outstanding dining experience. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, and knew we had called and asked about celiac ahead of time. They brought out gf bread and separate butter, discussed all the gf options on the menu (almost anything could be made gf), and everything was delicious. Not to mention a beautiful location and stunning view! We had sashimi, California rolls, macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi, and mango/coconut/cherry sorbet. Zero symptoms after eating here - my only warning is it’s $$$$.

Super informative about what is gluten free and what is not. They also were able to alter items to make them gluten free. When they brought out the bread for the table, the waitress informed me that they were making me gluten free bread and it was fresh in the oven. I was blown away. I have never had that happen for me, I always just watch everyone else eat the bread. Lol. They also had gluten free cheese cake and it was AMAZING. Spendy, but a must try.

Spago is a must try if you are in Waliea. All wait staff is knowledgeable about gluten free items and announces that the items that come out of the kitchen are gf. Waiter walked me through the items that are safe as there are no gf symbols on the menu. Highly recommend the NY steak. If you have room for dessert, the chocolate soufflé was honestly the best I have ever had! Phenomenal!

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with celiac foods and there were a lot of GF options already, others with minor alterations. “The seafood risotto was unbelievable.”-my non celiac husband. It really was!
