They have a “gluten free menu”. They have all the “gluten free” options on it come to find out from the waitress that anything fried is in a shared fryer with everything so they’re not gluten free. I had to pay a dollar for a side salad which came out with brown lettuce. don’t recommend. they don’t have a large salad menu so you can’t even resort to that.

I had the southwest chicken salad from the gf menu. I did my due diligence on follow up questioning and feel my food was safe. I would have liked it if the server had checked back in with me to verify that the tortilla chips were safe after double checking for me, but I asked the person who served my meal and he checked in with her and confirmed for me.

used to be good now they just don’t care they used to have hashbrowns that were gluten-free and then they took them off the menu the one thing that was actually really good to go with as a side order they seem like they don’t care as much as they used to the new staff or change of management that used to be five stars now was one star very sad. Only thing good is if you’re not gluten-free is there a beer! Even those seem like they have left they used to and they got rid of the desert of surveys that were gluten-free those were delicious and now they’re gone too!!!

WORST experience at a restaurant since celiac diagnosis (5 years ago). First, I asked for the gluten free menu, and the waitress thought there was only one gluten free menu available (bad start). Then, she brings out my side salad -that I specified gluten free - with croutons. I let her know that I ordered the gluten free salad, to which she replied, “It is.” I let her know that croutons are not gluten free. Then, she comes back with a “new” salad. I asked if this was a new salad or if the croutons were just picked off. After stuttering on her words she said it was a newly prepared salad. She set it down the salad, and I immediately saw crumbs. So, I explained even the smallest of crumbs makes me sick. Then, the third salad came out with cheese, and I am lactose intolerant.. and the salad did not have cheese in the description. At this point, though, I decided I wouldn’t be eating salad. Then, my meal came out. Pulled Pork with cheese on it (ordered no cheese) on a gluten free bun (got something right) but with onion rings right next to and touching the sandwich. Again, I let my waitress know that this order was incorrect and why I would be unable to eat it. At this point, she pulled out her electronic ordering device to show me that she had put the order in correctly without cheese. I’m assuming she was trying to shift the blame off of her, though I had a sandwich with cheese rubbing up on gluten in front of me, so I really wasn’t interested in whose fault it was. I sent the food back and let her know I didn’t need a new order. It was clear that this was not a safe restaurant for me to eat in. Once I realized I wouldn’t be eating, I ordered a root beer. The bill came and the waitress let me know her manager was able to cancel the cost of my meal... which I thought was a no brained since I ate no food? I was given no apologies or concern, and I thought the least they could do would be comp the root beer, though that did not happen either. Needless to say, this restaurant and staff does NOT understand the meaning or importance or gluten free in general and especially for celiacs.

Very friendly, great atmosphere but clueless on gluten free options and restrictions. My gluten free salad came with croutons and a huge piece of bread. They are very nice about it, but you have to tell them specifically what you can and cannot have!

Friendly wait staff. I opted for a gluten free pizza. The BBQ chicken one wasn’t too bad. Crust was crispy.

Yes they do have a gluten free menu but, NO it is not celiac friendly. They have shared fryers so fries and etc. Are not celiac friendly they only have 2 side options and their GF menu is there regular menu just items taken off the waitress even told us j don't blame you if you don't eat. Which means they don't prep separately so contamination is an issue, we had our drinks and left.

They do have a great gluten free menu for adults. The fryers are all shared so even the tortilla chips were off the table. Tough for small children with Celiacs. Nothing was really gluten free for children besides just plain chicken or a plain burger patty. They said their hotdogs weren’t gf. We ordered corn tortilla cheese quesadillas for our 3 year old and they charged us $10 because their loaded chicken ones were $10. This is after they had nothing for children with Celiacs. Kinda crazy.

Their gluten free menu is great! There is a wide variety of options and the gluten free menu stands alone with prices and drink options included. I had one of the flat breads and my husband had the cheeseburger with the gluten free bun. Both were excellent! They also have other sandwiches and soups and their own locally brewed Sprecher's sodas are also gluten free. They were knowledgeable about gluten free needs and very helpful. I have celiac and am pretty picky and I didn't have a reaction at all. We would highly recommend Sprecher's.

Server discouraged us from eating there because there was no guarantee that our food wouldn't be contaminated by gluten. Seemed annoyed that we asked. Did not eat there. Lake Geneva location was a totally different experience. Would recommend Lake Geneva location.
