We were excited to learn here that they now have a gluten free menu here, as it used to be one of our favorite places. But despite everything seeming to be on the up-and-up on the surface when we asked a few questions, my husband still got glutened, and now we can't go back :( Three stars = the average of the 5 stars they deserve overall and the 1 star they get for glutening my husband :( ----- Update : we really did used to love this place, so we came up with one way to make it work: getting lobster and a baked potato, both self-contained, is quite safe. But not feeling okay even having the pre-melted butter, not having salad, etc, still makes it not an ideal situation... Unless it is August and tourist season is over but lobsters are still in season and then woohoo! Just a lobster and potato is fine at those prices!

Watch out for cross contamination! My husband and I both have celiac disease. He had a wonderful salad here last year, so we went together for lunch recently. I ordered the gluten free chicken Parmesan. The chicken was tasteless and the pasta was like cardboard. My husband had the gluten free chicken sandwich and it tasted ok, but he got sick afterwards.

had a burger on a gluten free bun and it was safe and delicious. I've had the gluten free pizza too. they cook it on a separate pan so it's doesn't get contaminated in the over. love this pace!

on the menu it does warn that if your allergy is super severe that there is a POSSIBILITY of unintentional contamination though but they do put in their best effort to keep it safe.

I have gone three times since I've been gluten free . First time I was given the wrong burger and got sick " I wondered why the bread was so good" . Second time wrong bun again but I caught it this time . Third time my friends order was messed up again . Now I'm afraid to go back . Food is great the service is decent just look out .

Good GF staple. Basic Italian. I like the Italian sausage sandwich and the chicken à la capri. The staff is generally very good about gluten allergies, too.

Update:

I tried their gf pizza, and it is delightful! One of my favorites.

Excellent gluten free menu! The food was outstanding. I've eaten there many times; I've had the gluten free chicken parm, gluten free pizza, little necks etc. all were amazing! They have gluten free bread as well which is a plus. Servers are great as well. Very knowledgeable about the gluten free diet. Overall awesome experience.
