I cannot eat gluten and dairy and have visited this restaurant a few times now without any problems. It is one of my favorites. The chicken and lamb are at the top of my list, but everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Make sure to let them know you’re gluten free, otherwise your food will come served on their bread. I also love their cabbage.
I could eat almost anything here except their bread. The server was very celiac disease aware. The food was amazing and the owner came to chat with us. We will most definitely be back. Amazing experience!!!
Great vegetarian selection! Wonderful food and atmosphere!

Ok get ready for something relatively UNBELIEVABLE! When we arrived, we asked the owner (who was extremely hospitable and helpful) what was gluten free. Her response! Get ready was: "EVERYTHING on our menu is gluten free, except for the bread". She is willing to try to make the Ethiopian Bread as well but has tried and the recipe doesn't hold like it does back home. We had a meat combination with 2 veggie choices. We ate chicken (HOT), Beef (Medium) and Lamb (Mild). We loved the lamb, but the beef and chicken were flavorful as well. I loved the medium spice.; It was perfect. Just zippy enough with plenty of flavor. We had the collared greens and cabbage as sides. For those of you who don't like collared greens or cabbage, you need to try these anyway. They are perfectly seasoned and so fresh/flavorful. Then, guess what? We also had Gluten Free Tiramisu. WOW! It was great. So good that I asked to have a couple to go and we had the last one (so darn, now I have to go back!) The owner also made us a beautiful salad with lettuce, tomato's, onions, cucumbers and green beans and a dressing that was perfect. The green beans were really fresh and wonderful! She offered that since we could not eat the bread. How thoughtful! The Ethiopian tea was excellent! Black tea spiced/infused with cinnamon, cloves and cardamon. Will be making this at home for sure. Loved it and loved the refills!
