Absolutely amazing. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable- very aware of cross contact and celiac needs. Food was unreal. Loved all the sauces. Ate fried pickles!! Drinks were delicious. Will be going back. Truly a celiac joy space.

Talked extensively with manager and chef. There are many GF items BUT they mislabel the meatloaf. They make it with Kellogg rice crispies. When I explained there are generic versions that would be gluten-free but the Kellogg’s version is not, they got very defensive and said they have people eat gluten-free and never have a problem with it. When I questioned about the barbecue sauce, he said he was pretty sure the Worcestershire used was gluten free but said there were so many ingredients he doesn’t really know. I really wanted to make this place work but I’m just not sure how much I trust the ingredients they are using.

As other reviewers, I agree with the awesome fried chicken being the best! All the BBQ is also great. Sauces and most sides are gf and very good!! Update: Fried pickles!!!!

Server was helpful + knowledgeable and made note that I was celiac and not just GF. I had the pulled pork (without BBQ sauce*) + the garlic mashed potatoes (without the gravy*) and they were very good. I am a sensitive celiac and did not get sick. I would recommend.

*both were marked GF but I’m just not a sauce person

I've been here many times and I have never had an issue. Some gluten free favs are fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, and their meatloaf is also tasty. This place usually has a good music selection. I also enjoy their daily happy hour.

Great experience. Many items made GF (mashed potatoes, fries, Ribs, pulled pork all BBQ sauces and gravy as standard). All items marked clearly on the menu. My daughter had the GF fried chicken which was really great and she felt great after the meal!

I’ve been here multiple times and have been glutened each time. I usually just order the ribs with two gluten free sides. They are slightly dismissive about the gluten free cross contamination thing. Only a moderate glutening, but still not fun.

Gluten free fried chicken! Oh my stars! It’s heaven sent. The fried chicken is delicious and so worth it. I also ordered the fried green tomatoes (also gf) and I was literally filled with joy! I love fried green tomatoes and I haven’t had them in soooo long! The complimentary cornbread is NOT gluten free FYI.

I ordered the GF fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. As a lifetime celiac, that was the first time I'd ever had real fried chicken! Tasty. The barbecue sauces were all GF. They also didn't upcharge for the GF. I loved this place.

I called ahead and they explained that they have a dedicated fryer as well as most of the items are gluten free. When I ordered there I asked them to clean the cooking area and do glove change. They understood all the necessary protocols for celiac.

We went to Starlite BBQ because we saw they have a lot of gluten free options. Wow!! We had the gluten free fried chicken and the brisket. You would never know the chicken was gluten free and the brisket was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Seriously heavenly food! Highly recommend!
