Fantastic! You can safely eat gluten free here as long was you tell them. Second time I’ve been here and definitely one of the best meals of my life!

Amazing gluten free experience! My waiter took such good care of me as a celiac and even wrote notes on the menu of what I could eat, couldn’t and what could be modified. The hospitality and food here was unmatched.

I put a note in the reservation and our server had a menu with celiac noted and had the full menu including dim sum items with checks, Os, or Xs for yes/modifiable/no. While many things are “no,” maybe half the menu, there are plenty of varied options.
Allergies are also noted at the bottom of the table menu that the dim sum servers use to log orders.
Extremely safe, as good as you could ask for short of a strictly GF kitchen. Ideal for a mixed group.

This was one of my favorite special occasion restaurants from before my diagnosis, and I'm so happy to say it was an amazing experience now that I have to eat gluten free! I noted my celiac on my reservation, and they were so proactive in confirming my restrictions and bringing a menu with safe and modifiable dishes marked. Every server who came around with carts immediately checked the menu and let me know what I could and couldn't eat. I felt so taken care of and didn't have to worry about explaining my restrictions to every server that stopped by. I think more than half the menu was still available to me, including 3 of the 5 desserts. Overall amazing food and fantastic experience! Be sure to make reservations well in advance (it opens up a month out), and definitely order whatever the seasonal mochi dish is when you visit!

You can order larger meals from your waiter and/or take any of the food that comes by on carts (dim sum style). The server marks items on the larger meal menu as Celiac safe as is or if they can modify a dish to make it safe. For Celiacs, they will bring out a smaller menu for the dishes that come on carts and will mark it up as well. All the staff were very friendly and knew exactly what was safe or could be modified to be safe. This is a 1 Michelin Star restaurant so food was outstanding. The State Bird with Provisions dish was just wow! You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu. Just make reservations well in advance.

Would give it 6 stars if I could. Wonderful service - we called ahead, and since the menu changes daily, they annotated a menu with which items were GF, which could have substitutions, and which had gluten. Super helpful, the servers were fantastic and the food is inventive and delicious. Definitely get the octopus and pork belly
