They told me the pizzas don’t go in a metal pan in the oven so they don’t touch the rack but have had many celiac customers who were fine and had no reaction. I decided to risk it as my partner and I put things directly on the rack at home sometimes and are okay (he is not celiac). I had one slice before I was horribly ill and running to the bathroom. A week out and I’m still so sick that I’ve lost almost ten pounds in a week and can barely eat any food due to how sick I feel. There must have been significant cross contamination in the preparation area and not just the oven rack they told me about because I only get this sick if someone messes up big time.
Was the flavor and texture of the pizza tasty? Yes. But intestinally dying for a week straight now with no end in sight makes it so not worth it. If you need gluten free for medical reasons like me, don’t eat here.
