Great restaurant with GF items clearly identified on the menu. Our waiter Brandon totally took care of our GF needs and gave us suggestions of things to order. We order ed three dishes to share and they were all amazing. Such unique dishes, beautifully presented with incredible flavors. The black Cod was so good that I wanted to lick the plate.

I love love love this place! The food is so good and I’ve eaten here plenty of times and never gotten sick. The only drawback is that it’s fairly expensive. But it’s worth it! The only thing I’d say wasn’t worth it was the gluten free sushi - there aren’t many rolls to choose from and they’re really small for the price.

I ate in the restaurant once and got takeout twice from Sunda and the food was delicious and safe for me each time. The staff is very knowledgeable and thorough. In addition to gluten, I need to avoid a number of other allergens and they did a fantastic job accommodating all of these. Also, my food was delicious; it felt like I was still getting a treat of a meal rather than the bland option I get at some places. I felt great after eating each of my meals. I tried the pad Thai, miso soup, bluefin tataki and nigiri ; everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend.

Update - the manager called an hour later and was apologetic this time. Said they take allergies really seriously. Offered a refund. So, I guess this is a wash and just check your order and order notes really closely!!

The order was delivered with gluten containing soy sauce in with the sushi rolls even though we asked for Tamari and marked gluten free. It had spilled. Called the restaurant and they blamed Uber Eats. Could not eat $60+ of food. Manager was rude and no refund.

Staff is knowledgeable about celiac and gf allergies. The GF items are marked and they use tamari. I had the chap char (glass noodles with tofu). Did not get sick. Lots of yummy items to choose from.

Fun, hip environment in the heart of the gulch. My celiac daughter got a sushi roll and did not get sick. The menu is clearly labeled what is GF and a lot of it is. While our server was a little too quick to say “it’ll be fine” when I asked if she would make sure the sushi chef knew about the allergy, she did a good job clarifying when she poured the tamari for my daughter that it was gluten free. Our whole party agreed that food was yummy.

Gluten free menu. Knowledgeable staff aware of what it means to be truly gluten free. Good number of options. They even have special GF soy sauce. I had the Pad Thai and it was great.

The waiter immediately asked if anyone in my party had any food allergies/restrictions, which was very reassuring! I got the garden roll and sweet potato caterpillar and they were fantastic. Would love to come back to Nashville and eat here again.

Sunda has a gluten free menu and knowledgeable servers (my server said “I’m bringing out some tamari soy for you”) without my having to ask for GF soy sauce. I got the crispy rice with wagyu, which was absolutely delicious. Shishito peppers made a tasty appetizer and I enjoyed mochi for dessert.
