Severe reaction after eating here. Felt very sick for a few days. I’m assuming the staff aren’t well trained in cross-contamination.

Sunny's Cantina (Mexican) has Gluten Free options. Even has Fajitas that says made with Corn Tortillas but Flour Tortillas On Request. Sunny's has a few more items that are GF. Food and Atmosphere is Great.

The tacos were good but the menu wasn’t labeled very well and they gave me a flour tortilla after I requested corn tortillas

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. All protocols were taken to make sure I had a safe meal. The waitress was very nice and answered all my questions about cross contact and how the kitchen prepares everything in the back. She was very aware of celiac disease. I will definitely go back again.

Refreshing!! The owner is very familiar with gluten free options! She had a bartender with celiac who originally couldn't eat off their menu so they revamped it to accommodate❤! SUCH nice people ND one heck of an employer to care enough to go out of their way to learn and restructure. We had the jalapeño app, queso, and street tacos modified and did not get sick. I even had a margarita...which, by the way was made with HOUSE MADE simple syrup (lime/jalapeño combo)...DELISH and OH SO FRESH!! We will most definitely be back!! I'll also note our waitress was newer and thanked us for her learning experience as she didn't have answers to several questions but HAPPILY and CHEERFULLY went back and forth to the kitchen to ensure safety. Top notch...and I'm a foodie with a very high bar for the complete package - flavor, experience/ambiance, and service. What a gem!

We tried Sunny’s today after recently moving to the area and trying to find decent Mexican. They mark the gluten free items on the menu and were able to pull an allergy list when I asked. No gluten free fryer, but I asked and was told they are happy for me to bring my own chips to have with salsa. Best margaritas I’ve had in St Louis (they actually squeeze their own lime juice)! I had the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas which were delicious. Definitely will be back.
