My daughter and I are regulars. Sunshine is always on the menu. We have never had issues with gluten...theirs is a clean kitchen. Muffins and donuts, chocolate chip pancakes are sweet options, but ask the chef. He has wonderful savory suggestions, too. Sitting at the counter or at a table-- service is great.

You have to try the freshly made donuts on Saturday morning. Delicious!

My daughter has celiac and ordered a short stack of gluten free buttermilk pancakes. The food was actually warm this time (usually it is room-temperature at best), but three hours after she ate she was throwing up. She didn't have anything else to eat before or after, so there obviously must have been some cross-contamination. She has eaten there a couple of times before with no problem, but needless to say we won't be going back there again.

I ordered their deluxe breakfast - gf pancakes, 2 eggs over medium, bacon w/fruit cup & coffee. I drove from Holden wanting pancakes as the reviews were good. Coffee like mud, pancakes not cooked in the middle and gritty, eggs the whites not cooked. I didn’t eat, and left hungry. Very disappointed, but cured my desire for pancakes! Rating-awful!

Had Breakfast- omelet with fresh fruit cup and GF toast.
They had a decent gluten free menu. Pancakes and GF toast available. We just couldn’t get past the cleanliness of the place. There were crumbs all over each booth, my omelette was green, my husbands sausage had a gross smell, and most of the individual butter containers were opened on multiple tables. We almost walked out but felt bad and wanted to give it a try. The staff was very nice.
Olivia was very knowledgeable about Celiac's and being gluten free. I had the Big breakfast with 2 eggs over medium, bacon, 2 very large pancakes and a substitution of sausage links because they mentioned their concern with cross contamination in their fryolator for the homefries. I also subbed a delicious home made blueberry muffin for toast.
Food was hot and delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were beyond delicious. They were large and dense but still somehow fluffy. Olivia mentioned that they use the King Arthur GF Pancake mix for their pancakes. Boy was it good.
They offer GF pancakes, bread, and home made gf muffins and are very contentious about cross contamination and not poisoning me.
I would definitely both recommend this hidden gem and plan on going back again very soon!

From the happy bacon and egg costumed greeters on the road to the pleasant staff we had a nice breakfast. My gf omelet was huge. Home fries and gf toast topped off a delicious breakfast. Ask for jam too. My husband enjoyed the buffet where he sampled the whole menu.
