We are the people opening a new bakery in this location. We will be carrying a limited menu of gluten free, and can make anything you'd like by special order.

We have been looking for a bakery location for some time, but it was never our intention to open a gluten free bakery. The prior ownership of this location had built a business based on gluten free, so we will do our best to take care of the customer base that she had.

Our pastry chefs have built a great following along the Grand Strand, and catered the most high end events from Calabash to Litchfield. Many restaraunts along the beach are looking forward to serving our desserts in their establishments. We welcome the opportunity to serve the gluten free community, but at the same time we would like everyone to understand that this is not our dedicated business plan. Unfortunately dedicated gluten free businesses don't last due to the limitations of the clientele, and we'd like to be a staple in Little River for many years to come. Come visit us and give us the chance to earn your business.

Incredibly disappointed. Thrilled with Sweet Changes at previous location while on vacation last year. Was excited about new location for vacation this year...and they are CLOSED. Changing owners and not open til vacation is over. I was so looking forward to apple danish!

This bakery is closed. A new bakery is opening in its place called Life Is Sweet. Opens June 14, 2016. Her Facebook page says "we will do some gluten free also." Bummer.

Ok, I give up!!!! When we were here at the beach last fall, this bakery was closed for moving to a new location. This was a real disappointment as it is very hard to find food on vacation for a celiac. THIS YEAR, they're closed for ownership "issues!" I'll know to NEVER set my hopes up for a LOCALLY owned business again! Wonder if all of the 5 star ratings were actual customers or friends promoting a friend??!!The only reason a 1 star rating is given is because it won't allow a 0 !

This is my second time visiting this bakery and I still love it! They have changed locations and are in a bigger building now. They now have gf and non-gf items, as they have 2 different kitchens - one where the gf items are baked and the other one for the non-gf items. Since they have 2 different kitchens, you don't have to worry about cross contamination. They have a good variety of gf items that are SO good! The staff is also very friendly. I definitely will keep coming back here!

I found Sweet Changes on the "find me gf" app. I live right over the border in North Carolina, and when I saw the place on it, I just drove over. it is pretty new to Little River, the cupcakes were great! I'm heading back there soon! they have separate kitchens for the gluten and gluten free goodies! enjoy!

AMAZING find!!! Thank you Robin for doing what you do. It is so hard to find GF & DF food and I can't express how valuable you are. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! I will be contacting you before hand every time I know we are going to the beach to make sure items I want are available just for me. Again in one word AMAZING!!!

Great little place! I agree with all the positive comments. One caveat: Call for directions. My cell phone GPS had no clue where to go after a certain point. We ended up calling. They were out of bread but we got several desserts and all are good. Fresh baked ! Friendly service. You can also call ahead and order what you want before going. We recommend it!

I went to Sweet Changes today for the first time after reading good things about it on this app, and I have to say, I was very pleased. It was a little hard to find using the GPS on the cell phone, but when I called the bakery for directions they were very friendly and helpful. They had a huge selection of gf items (they are solely a dedicated gf bakery and can bake items to accommodate other allergies, too) from pastries to breads to cupcakes, etc). We bought 3 items for around $5, which is not bad at all, as gf can be very expensive. The food is great, very moist, with good flavor. I am so glad I found a gf bakery that I can go to when we come down here. I highly recommend it!

Just came across the fact there is a GF bakery & was SO excited to read there are actually two other people allergic to Gluten AND Dairy!!! This is SOOOO hard to find food out that meets both allergies so I will be making the trip to the bakery this weekend while we are here at the beach. I just pray it is not like the bakery I found in Asheville that makes GF bread & I went on a goose hunt to find it only to find out they only do special orders for the GF bread. I was so bummed but my husband had the best looking cinnamon!! Guess I will call first. But I am excited.

My mom and I are allergic to milk and gluten. I went here with low expectations of anything actually being dairy and gluten free. I was blown away when the worker, Robin, told me only two of the items in the window had milk! I will definitely be going back again tomorrow.

Love, Love, love this bakery! I can't say enough good things about it. Just wish it was in the town I live in. Our family spends a week in North Myrtle Beach every year so we were thrilled to find a gf bakery within 15 minutes of our condo. Everything we tried was absolutely amazing! My personal favorite was the coconut bars. They are to-die-for. We also tried the blueberry muffins, chocolate chip muffins, brownies, crumb cake, cinnamon bread, chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and breadsticks with butter and garlic, which were all delicious. I recommend going early since they sell out quickly or calling in an order, which is what we did. Everything is made fresh each day so there's no day old baked goods and the prices are great, especially for gf. If you're in the area you definitely need to check out this bakery, you won't be disappointed.

Be careful with website. I had purchased from their online store which stated my order would be ready in 120 minutes. I ordered close to 50$ worth of merchandise, revived confirmation text messages letting me know my order was being worked on and that my order was ready. We drove an hour (while on vacation from a different state) with an unruly toddler to pick up our order, and when we arrived we were told (even after our credit card was charged) they are not accepting orders from their website....and best of all they had no idea who was texting us saying the order was in process....then completed. This experience was both extremely bizarre and quite a let down, imagine being so excited to try all of these items, and after being charged for them then being told they were being made and then the long drive to not have your items prepared is quite perplexing. The owner did offer a refund (this I would think is a no brainer) but did not offer anything for the inconvenience. I personally would have handled this situation quite differently.

We stopped here on our way home from the beach. We got several treats -- a brownie, a peanut butter iced brownie, a red velvet cupcake, banana bread, a chocolate/cherry desert dish, and dinner rolls. Our bill was unbelievably low!! And, (drumroll) the best part is it was all delicious!! We have GF bakery in our hometown but it doesn't hold a candle to Sweet Changes and it would be 4 times higher. We plan to mail order from them and visit when we go to the beach. The kind lady told us to call ahead and order what we want and she'll have it ready when we get there!

Cute GF bakery in MB area. (Next to Family Dollar-you may drive past it unless you look for that!) Awesome variety, tasty products & super accommodating! Dedicated bakery so you don't have to worry! Can't wait to order my daughter's b-day cake in a few days! (You can order fresh pizza crusts, breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies, etc.) I tried the Snickerdoodle cookies And a pb frosted brownie...WOW! So good! Must try if in MB. (Similar GF bakery in ATL area where I live is 3-4x the price!)
