A decent option for a GF donut for sure. I’m new on my celiac journey so I still remember a gooooood donut so if you compare, donut is just fine. They also have gluten free bread to make any of their breakfast sandwiches GF. The guy who took my order suggested a “burrito bowl” he could accommodate for me though it wasn’t on the menu. Loved the extra options!

I am a very sensitive individual with Celiac Disease and haven’t had a decent donut in 14 years. I thought I would give this place a try. My husband and I arrived about 10 am and there were about 8 people in line ahead. The wait was not long, but we were thoroughly entertained by the vibe. They had several GF donuts I in different flavored individually wrapped on a top try. My husband who is not celiac got a cronut. My goodness, they were both delicious. Highly recommend the ZGF donut! Great service with a smile. Thanks for restoring my faith in GF donuts. Good thing I don’t live in Glenwood Spring because the donors would surely make me gain wait. Great vacation treat!

These are NOT donuts, they are cupcakes. With overly sweet, flavorless icing options. If you feel like a cupcake, stop in. If you are not celiac and want breakfast options on gf bread, stop in. Kitchen is extremely tiny and flour, icing, bread, all sorts of gluten all over. I would not consider this to be safe for celiacs, and the donuts were actually cupcakes, not fried, overly sweet and messy, mini cakes made in a high gluten environment.

What a little gem of a place. The Coloradough crew were awesome! The gf donuts are sooooo good and individually wrapped to help with cross-contamination. Previous reviews said the donuts were so-so, my family travels and we have been to lots of bakeries, these donuts by far have been our favorites. My family has Celiac and none of us had any reactions. We are super sensitive.

They have gluten free donuts in a separate area. There were 5 flavors I believe. They had someone else get my donuts who put on fresh gloves and in their own box from the rest of my family. The donuts were just okay but it was nice to have donuts with the rest of my family. The staff was really nice and fun!

Very nice people. Very grateful to them for having GF donuts, but didn’t think they were that good. But again nice to have the option and they were wrapped separately and the woman helping us asked if we wanted her to change her gloves so they are knowledgeable about GF.

What a wonderful treat!!! We walked in and were immediately greeted. When I asked about the gluten free donuts, he went to the back and carried out a whole tray with fresh gluten free donuts that are kept away from all of the regular ones. I ended up getting all 6 flavors. They are so good! An amazing cake donut! Not at all dry, grainy, or crumbly either! They were perfect! I saved them and had one over 12 hours after I purchased them and still perfect! Not dry or crumbly! And I didn’t have to warm it up! They are soft! Felt great after eating them too! What could be better for a celiac??? Definitely worth a trip there if you are close!

When I went in, they asked me if I was “super celiac” (whatever that means) and whether I was okay with “a little cross-contamination.” Apparently the only truly celiac-safe option is a plain cake doughnut with like chocolate or white chocolate latte syrup squirted onto it. Based on previous reviews, I was pretty disappointed.
Gluten free doughnuts that are kept in a separate area and individually wrapped to avoid cross-contamination. Some yummy options !

LOVED this place. We were staying at a hot springs nearby and stopped here multiple times on our stay at my request. The gf donuts are not on the menu/in the case so you have to ask for them specifically. If you’re expecting traditional fried donuts, they’re not, but I actually prefer them being baked in this case just because it reduces the chances of cc. I think they might have offered a few different options for glaze/toppings but I only went for traditional sugar rolled because I love that almost sandy crunch.

Yummy donuts! Baked, not deep fried, so a bit cake-y as others have stated, but delicious.

Definitely worth the long Saturday morning wait! :) the waiter asked me if I had celiac when I asked about gluten free and he pulled a donut from the back and drizzled it in chocolate to prevent cross contamination!! I also agree that it tastes more like a Bundt cake but either way it’s very good!!

They had an amazing gluten free donut!! It was light and fluffy, and the extra ones I got stayed moist for a few days. They were individually wrapped and kept in a separate section, and then put in a separate bag from the regular donuts the rest of my family ordered. I’m a silent celiac, so I can’t speak to whether or not I would’ve gotten any cross contamination, but I would highly recommend based on my experience.

Omg. Gf donuts. In several flavors. So good. They’re baked, not fried and wrapped in plastic to prevent cross contamination. They told me they also have gf bread for all their sandwiches but I didn’t try them.

This was the best part of my trip! I hadn’t had a doughnut in 13 years and they made one fresh for me. Totally safe and delicious.

The donuts were light and fluffy! They knew what to do in order to avoid cross contamination, and gave me specific advice because I had Celiac. The donuts tasted amazing and I would love to go again

This place is awesome! Stopped here after reading great reviews and they did not appoint. Ordered a build your own sandwich with gf bread (moist bread, not crumbly like a lot of gf bread) and all the fixings you could imagine. The ham and turkey were not your standard sliced deli meat. It was legit meat that looked like it was just carved off the bone. SO good! I have not yet tasted the gf lemon and maple doughnuts I bought but am super stoked to savor them with my morning coffee 😋 They also had regular bread and doughnuts for my husband (his flattop philly sandwich was awesome according to him) and his doughnuts look amazing. Highly recommend for anybody in the area. Wish there was one where I live!

Definitely a popular place. Their gluten free donuts were in the back and were delicious! They let you choose from select glazes to put on them. The sandwiches were really good too. They let me know that they were preparing their sandwiches in the same area (which is always a good sign, since they're aware of how unsafe it can be for a celiac), so I was able to get them to change gloves and put down clean parchment paper so they had a clean surface. Sandwich fixings are all individually wrapped too, so no cross contamination happens there. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're on your way through.
Yes
Yummy gf donuts, and you have the option of four or five different frosting flavors to put on top, I got chocolate, it was great. They also had gf multigrain bread, so I got an egg sandwich as well. Super fun!
They make a gluten free vanilla cake doughnut that you can put whatever frosting you want on it. Tastes very good but more like a cupcake. They also have gf bread. I had a breakfast sandwich and 1.5 doughnuts and did not get sick at all. Call ahead for the doughnuts as they might not have them.
The GF chocolate donut was really yummy! Best GF donut I’ve ever had.
Yes
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DONUTS AND SANDWICHES! The service is incredible and the food is delectable! I don’t remember the last time I had a donut that didn’t taste like cardboard and these taste better than any donut I’ve ever had! Oh happy day!!!!
