Sweet Grass Dairy Cheese Shop

Wanted to have a date night so we drive 1:30hrs to sweet grass and my wife had a celiac attack right afterwards. Not a fun drive home with a wife doubled over in pain. The whole table was ordered to be Gluten Free. But was not the case so be ware!

Super tasty apps and cheese plates. I loved all the gf entree options and being able to enjoy fries given the dedicated fryer. The wait can be long, so I'd try to get in early or plan on enjoying the local shops while waiting.

We eat at SweetGrass regularly bc it’s gf and the food is delicious. We’ve had their burger, fried chicken sandwich, salad with steak, steak frites, appetizer of Brussels sprouts and hummus with crackers instead of breadsticks. They are knowledgeable about celiac as it is in their family. Dedicated fryer and fries are great. Never had a bad meal. Highly recommend.

I’m a Thomasville native and Sweetgrass is phenomenal. The owner actually has Celiac Disease so her restaurant has so much more knowledge than most. Almost everything can be made gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer. Gf crackers too. Some say it’s pricey but I’ve never had Sweetgrass and not had amazing leftovers too. I say you get what you pay for. Great atmosphere, staff, food and experience. I’ve never been “glutened” and will always be a loyal customer.

Amazing food and staff!! Gluten free fryer!! Had fried chicken for the first time in year and loved it!!! Highly recommended!!

Very good! The cheese curds are great and they have gluten free crackers for cheese boards. If you get a cheese board I would just get a salad instead of a big sandwich. I am so full.

Seriously the best salad I've ever had! My son kept talking about how good the gluten free bread was. He usually thinks it's too dry. He said the tomato on his chicken salad was very fresh and delicious. Everything here is fresh and delicious! They have a dedicated fryer for the fries and they make ALL their own sauces! I had this delicious grapefruit vodka drink called the secret keeper. I want to go back as soon as possible!!

Tons of GF options! Only one item on the menu was unable to be created GF. Love their willingness to work with dietary needs and their understanding.

You can be very secure eating here since the staff is very knowledgeable and careful to accommodate GF needs. There is GF bread, crackers and a dedicated fryer for French fries. Even the fried cheese curds are gluten free!!
