Visiting from out of town, decent BBQ. I'm sad there's no dedicated fryer and they use beer in the brisket but my daughter enjoyed the ribs and pork. She's a huge baked bean fan but couldn't try them because they use brisket in it.
Everyone was nice and knowledgeable about gluten, her meats were put on the plate away from gluten containing items.

I ate here TWICE during my trip to Knoxville. Avoid the sauces and the brisket. I had ribs, chicken, pork, lima beans, coleslaw, potato salad. All of it was incredible. They were happy to swap out the brisket in the meat sampler for me.

All PLAIN meats (except for the brisket) are gluten free. The brisket is soaked in beer. Sauces all have “trace amounts of gluten” in them.

They marinate their brisket with beer so be careful with that, but this is my a top 5 favorite restaurant in Knoxville
Food was mediocre and the group of young kids working there, while very polite and willing to help, were not allergy educated. It was also very expensive for what you get. It's set up like a cafeteria- order at a counter while they use an ice cream scoop to slop food on a paper plate, pay at a register at the end of the line then carry your tray to a picnic table. I wouldn't recommend it or go back.

All their BBQ seasonings and sauces are gluten free, as well as their cornbread! Most sides are gluten free as well, except the obvious ones like Mac n cheese. If you like barbeque go here... you won't be disappointed.
