Went to get nachos but our server told us the chips are cooked in the same fryer as everything else. They are cooked first thing in the morning so maybe people who are less sensitive would be fine. Drinks were good but didn't really feel like our server was very knowledge so I avoided food to be safe

While Taberna doesn’t have a gluten free menu, SO many things are or can be made gluten free. The majority of their tacos, their chips and queso/guac, and burrito bowls/salads are gluten free. They also have gluten free buns if you want a burger and their fryer is safe for fries! I’ve dined there more times than I can count and I’ve never had an issue feeling sick afterward. My recommendation: chips and queso for an appetizer, southwestern tacos with sides of rice and elote for the main course!

Went for happy hour and was happy to learn the chips, salsa, guacamole and queso were all gluten free. I didn't ask about other menu offerings or other kitchen conditions. The classic margarita was good, too! Nice patio.
