Two out of the four borths are GF, they also offer GF Ponzu and Soy sauces and to top it off they have Shirataky noodles. In short this Shabu place is great for Celiacs. Oh, the very first question from the waitress was about allergies. I love this place !

I thought the food was pretty good but not the most flavourful - but I didn't have a reaction so I was happy :) they asked if I had any allergies which was nice.

I came here with my family, it was a fun experience. It is a bit difficult if you go with a group because the seating is all in a line so it can be hard to talk to eachother but we still enjoyed it. They told me they're on a bunch of allergy friendly restaurant lists and they take allergens very seriously. The ingredients are all separated in the back. You each get your own burner with a metal cooking pot. I felt very safe that they were taking precautions with the food to keep it separate and you can watch them doing everything.
Great ratings for safety but in terms of taste mine was definetly lacking compared to what the rest of my family was able to have. I got the kombu dashi broth but I should have gone with spicy miso because the kombu broth had no flavor. The dashi has wheat in it so they literally just gave me kombu water. Halfway through I asked them to add some of the spicy miso and it was a lot better but still lacking in flavor. You are supposed to add most of the flavor with the table sauces but they only had gluten free ponzu and gluten free soy sauce which were good but have a similar flavor profile. My food was basically just seasoned with kombu water, green onions, and soy sauce, it was still good though. My family had more variety of sauces and a goma sauce that they said was really good. Next time, I would see if I can bring my own sauces. At the end of your meal you can either get a free soup with any leftovers you have or pay $6 extra for them to make it into a porridge. I recommend getting the soup because they added extra broth for me and then you can take it home and add more veggies and rice to make your own porridge. Overall it was a good time and I felt completely fine after, I would go back!

Delicious, fresh, great quality shabu-shabu, and it’s safe! They offer gluten free broth, sauces, and noodles, and are very careful about avoiding cross-contamination. I have eaten here multiple times and have never gotten sick. Highly recommended!

What a great experience here. Asked immediately if I had any allergies and gave me gluten free sauces and helped me order a delicious lunch. Food tasted great and they even had a noodle option that was safe. I’ll be back here a lot

When you walk in the host asks if you have any allergies right away and before she seats you. When seated, they put a marker in front of your burner to indicate the allergy. They had 2 (of 4 total) gluten free broths and they even had a gluten free ponzu which is hard to find! The quality of the food was great and so was the quality of the service. There’s no need to worry about cross-contamination because the meat, veggies, and broth all come separately. Although the veggie plate does usually come with a noodle so make sure to request it to be removed (they will sub it for something else if you’d like).
