We used to come here all the time with no issues, but the last two times I have eaten here, I've gotten incredibly sick. We ordered online, and clearly marked gluten as an allergy for each item, but there must have been some cross contamination somewhere.

What a pleasant gluten free surprise! Took our daughter here, everything on the menu except the flour tortillas and desserts is gluten free. I even thought it was better than Torchy’s, actually. Margs were amazing too, strong and not too sweet. What a win!

A new favorite! Everything on the menu is gluten free if you order it on the corn tortillas. Let the front counter know it's an allergy and they take extra care to avoid cross contamination. Yummy food!

I have eaten here many many times, no issues ever. The entire menu is gluten free as long as you don't order flour tortillas. When ordering tell them you have a "gluten allergy" they will take all precautions and bag the tacos separately. I asked about a specialty taco one time, and the worker went to double check. His mom was a celiac, so he respected the importance of gluten free. I would give taco deli 10 stars if I could.

I loved Taco Deli! I got the Papadulce taco on a corn tortilla and the chips and queso were amazing. Definitely going back. The server made me feel confident that I would not get cross contaminated and I didn't even need to explain myself.

I love eating at Taco Deli. I eat here often and NEVER get sick as a result. Everything is fresh and tasty. You have to order your taco on a corn tortilla but that the only caution you have to take. The queso is really, really good and they only have gf that chips come in a bag for everyone. My favorite for breakfast is the Otto.

Almost everything is gluten free when ordered on corn tortillas. Great selection

This is my favorite go-to place. Everything is gf except the flour tortillas. Try the salmon taco on corn and a side of guacamole. The chips are amazing as well.

Celiac safe! Everything on the menu is gluten free apart from the tortillas. They do corn tortillas as the gf option. Just let them know it's for an allergy and they will take care of you. The food was also absolutely fantastic !

Taco Deli was able to make my entire order gluten free as well as lactose free. I cannot eat gluten or lactose but they were extremely accommodating which was so nice. Their tacos were awesome! Plus their chips are gluten free too! YAY!

I also can't eat corn or dairy, I had the taco Loco and a fish taco with no tortilla, they put each taco in a cup! first time I've eaten out in a whiiiiiiiiiiile! it was nice to be able to explain my restrictions and not feel like a freak, wish we had one in San Diego, thanks taco deli!

I love this place! The staff is always very conscientious and will specify "allergy" on your order so the kitchen staff knows to use new gloves and such if you are very sensitive. If the people bringing out the food see allergy marked on a ticket I have seen them wash their hands before touching my basket. They are great! The tacos are delicious. The prices are super reasonable. They have a free rewards card that gets you free tacos. For all the great service and deliciousness I get I think I can most definitely live without breakfast sausage.

They are very aware of gluten allergies, stated on their menus and the cashier didn't even blink an eye when I said celiac. She even told the cooks directly, rather than relying on a screen or paper to create the order. I've gone back several times now, have never gotten sick, and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food.

im not sure whether they’ve changed their policy or what, considering the great reviews, but they told us the surface was shared with the flour tortillas and there was no way they could wipe it for us or use a separate tray. really disappointing.
