Above and beyond customer service. Stopped in Chattanooga for the night on a cross country road trip and ordered delivery. The staff was knowledgeable about celiac and cc, however the food arrived with gluten products accidentally (fried onions on tacos, fried in same frier as gluten products). When I called back, they had a new order made and had the general manager personally deliver the food to my hotel.

No gluten free menu, but most menu items can be made gf upon request.

Food was delicious.

This place is so good and very Celiac safe. You can always swap out different meats in the tacos and sub sauces. There are also a couple of employees that have Celiac. They use corn tortillas for those with gluten issues. The staff is very knowledgeable! The food is fantastic!

Awesome tacos and margaritas. Gf chips are very different from the regular ones (pretty sure they are store bought) felt safe since they aren’t from the frier. Nice patio and excellent food.

Have eaten here several times. Never an issue. (Enchiladas Suizas, queso, homemade guac and salsas my favs!) Be sure to tell them gluten free so they can make appropriate adjustments if necessary, and ask for the gluten free chips!!

They have a gluten free menu. You should ask for the regular menu as well. The GF menu doesn't have descriptions of the food. The server Mark was very knowledgeable and did a great job. The food was very good. There were quite a few tacos to choose from. The California club taco has medium heat with good flavor. The Caribbean jerk chicken taco was sweet with mild to moderate heat and loaded with flavor. They also have GF chips, salsa, queso. The chips and queso had good texture and flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm very sensitive and had no reaction. Their food is more about flavor than heat.

I ordered the enchilada gringos and asked for them to substitute the flour tortilla for corn. I also got the green Chile rice. The food was delicious and I didn’t get sick (and I am very sensitive to cross contamination). Would definitely go again!

We ate here a lot before my celiac diagnosis, and I was happy to learn they have a separate gluten free menu so we can keep eating at Taco Mamacita. Their mango salsa is so good, and it turns out the gluten free chips taste even better than the regular ones! The gluten free taco menu is pretty big, with lots of options. I loved the black bean taco and the vegetarian jerk taco before I got my diagnosis. The black bean taco on a corn tortilla is gluten free, but the vegetarian jerk taco is not listed on the gluten free menu due to the plantain being fried in the same fryer as gluten-containing foods. I expressed my sadness about not being able to eat my favorite taco anymore to my server and she let me know that they can actually just sauté a plantain in a separate pan and make the taco completely gluten free! It’s just as good as I remembered it. The charros beans are a very good gluten free side item (though I do miss the sweet potato fries!). We eat here often and I have not had any “glutened” reactions, even though I am sensitive and do often have reactions after eating at other restaurants. The staff understands celiac disease, takes it seriously, asks the kitchen staff to change gloves, etc.

Gluten free chips! We got chips and guac and i got the chicken enchiladas. All was very good. Our server was super helpful and answered all my questions on what was available GF and had lots of suggestions on what to order. The mojito was good too

You have to be very clear on changing gloves and requesting GF chips. Even then it’s sometimes a risk. Gf tacos are usually a safe bet, but a few times we’ve received flour tacos by accident (instead of corn)

Quality is good by prices for salsa and Queso are brutal. Other meals are pretty fair. I’ve been given flour tortillas a few times so watch out

I've eaten here a dozen times since 2015 and every year the service and GF ability gets worse. Stressed that I had Celiac and that they would need to change gloves, and still have problems. Disappointing to hear others got sick as well. Being served flour tacos (last two visits) or gf chips that were cross contaminated lowers my confidence. Has gotten worse over the years...

Ordered carnitas tacos and the beans from their gluten sensitive menu. I specified I was gluten free. Walking back across the bridge to the aquarium, I could feel something was not right. It was definitely a reaction to contaminated food. Don't recommend to celiac or really sensitive people.

We came to Chattanooga for my birthday and having both dairy and gluten allergies that are pretty severe made me nervous. We were lucky enough to get Jesse as a server and he went above and beyond. Not only did he do this with his service, but also his patience. He made sure that I could have the meat addition I preferred for my enchiladas (and checked the ingredients for enchiladas!) and he even suggested sights to see in the area! So glad we chose this place!
