TaMolly's Mexican Restaurant

I have Celiac and am quite concerned about getting cross contamination at restaurants. We went here on our drive home from Texas and was very impressed. They totally understand about celiac and assured me that the kitchen has dedicated areas and fryers for the gluten free food. The enchiladas were great, the chips were gluten free and delicious. 3 hours later and my tummy is still happy!! Highly recommend this place for Celiac persons.

Delicious food from a very nice selection of choices. We've been twice since my wife's Celiac diagnosis and enjoyed it very much. She did not feel limited in her selections, and the manager kept an eye on the whole process. We have been very happy with TaMolly's, and grateful for their care.

Great Gluten Free menu!! Items clearly marked Gluten Free!! Be sure to tell server if your allergy...Staff were very knowledgeable of those with an allergy and show they are well trained. Manager came out to take the order, prepared our food and brought it out with gloves on. Chips, salsa, quest and specialty dips, enchiladas, and so many more options!!! A must eat in Shreveport!!!!! Myself, mom and children all have a severe gluten intolerance, with mom having celiac disease. If you are in town, make this a must stop if anyone in your party is allergic to gluten!! Great Job TaMolly’s...we will be back!!

Before we were seated, I asked if they had gf options that would be free of cross contamination. The gentleman showed me a menu and he asked if I was celiac, he told me that he was too and said they would take good care of me. He was right! The food was delicious and I wasn’t on edge! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

best food I've had in a Mexican restaurant,the manger and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful , manger went and prepared my food and brought it out herself seperatly then the rest wearing gloves👍 she informed me that they even had to take a class and get certified they made me feel extra safe and I appreciate all the extra steps they went out of there way to do, to insure my safety, and for someone who is as severe as i am to when it comes to a reaction I am not sick at all I feel great after eating . if I am ever around there again I will be back .also the service was amazing and the food just as good.

The manager personally handled my meal and brought it out separately. He heated up the dedicated GF fryer for my crispy taco and brought it out fresh. Each entree even had a cute little GF sign on the dish! Great place!

Great food! Great service! They always have someone on staff trained to prepare a gluten free plate. The only thing I didn't like is that it only had 3 gf options on the menu.

They are doing an excellent job. I've never felt as comfortable eating at a restaurant as I did eating here! Stay away from margaritas. My waiter said they are pre made and not gf

This is a GREAT food joint for Tex/Mex. Prices were good, staff was friendly and food was tasty. Additionally, they have a great gluten free menu and incredibly attentive staff that ensured I was confident in my choices and that my food was prepared with no cross contamination. The manager personally made my food and brought it to me. This was the most confident I have ever been eating in a non-GF establishment. I will definitely be back anytime I am in Shreveport.

The manager is a certified to cook gluten free food. She cooked to food and brought it to the table to avoid cross contamination. I live about 2 hours away and I will be coming back...often. They have a good selection and the menu had gf choices marked.

Always get great service & wonderful food. the manager makes my meal & I have never had a problem with contamination.

Came here a couple weeks after finding out I was Gluten intolerant. Manager came over and served everything seperate from my friend (even wore gloves!), ensured my food was prepared in the gluten-free designated dishes, and even verified with me that the cooks had competely seperated my dish so there was no cross contamination-from the Bob's dip to my fajitas. VERY impressed!

I felt safe eating at Ta Molly’s in Texarkana. My food was brought to the table separately from the meal with gluten. Mine was hand delivered by the manager. My meal was perfect. There are several menu items marked gluten free. I feel like the restaurant understands what gluten free means and takes steps to follow guidelines. I will definitely return.

Ate here with my husband yesterday and had a great experience. Highly recommend, service was fast, food was good, and price was excellent! This is the only restaurant I trust 100% not to get me sick in Texarkana. They have Celiac Disease trained staff with a separate area for gluten free food. My food comes separately from my family by a manager with black gloves. My food always has a gluten free stick in it. I eat here once or twice a week.

Every time we’ve eaten in the restaurant, we’ve had a really great experience with the kitchen staff be cognizant of a gluten allergy and proper precautions.

I did recently have a bad experience with the restaurant where we had a pick up order during a busy day (right at a holiday) and had requested the entire order to be gluten free and we were given flour tortillas. This made me nervous that the rest of the order wasn’t prepared gluten free. When I called to ask about this, the person who answered the phone said the kitchen staff was too busy to answer questions since the restaurant was busy due to the holiday. When I pressed the issue saying that there was an allergy and I needed to know if the food was prepared with this in mind, the girl on the phone left for about 30 seconds and then got back on and said that they rung it up as gluten free so the kitchen staff “should have” made to gluten free.

It’s certainly made me weary of this location. I think I will stick to eating in the restaurant & avoid busy times.
