Man, I really wanted to like it here. Disclaimer: I'm from Texas, and grew up eating Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican my whole life. I was pumped that the whole menu, minus flour tortillas, is gluten-free and that they understand celiac safety. Unfortunately, everything we got was either bland or just awful. We started with chips, queso, and T27 and chipotle salsa. The portions are SMALL. The T27 salsa was good. The chipotle was not, and the queso was an attempt at authentic queso fondido, but it was just barely-seasoned melted cheese. I got the fried chicken tacos and my husband got portobello enchiladas. My tacos were nothing special at all, and the taco sauces were basically just vinegar. My husbands enchiladas were terrible. The only flavor in the vegetables was bitterness. We were both sorely disappointed by the high price and lack of flavor. I would honestly rather get tacos or a burrito bowl at Chipotle.
