Taqueria Maria's

Stopped in on way back to Boston. Based my visit off a previous review. Glad I made the stop. Met the owner. Explained what was gf. Price was right and food was authentic and delicious. More like a pizza/sub shop. No liquor. But great find.

Let’s start with safety: They label GF options on their menu and the servers are knowledgeable about GF. So far have not yet gotten sick here.

Now let’s talk about taste: YUM!!! They have GF empanadas that you must have there as they are delicious hot out of the oven. Every time I go now I get a cheese empanada and the nachos with chicken. The food is fresh, tastey, authentic although I think my taste is more Americanized, and the service is so incredibly friendly. They truly make you feel welcome. My husband is very picky and loves it here. No quibbling when I ask to go here. So all in all, highly recommend!

We order from Taqueria as our go-to when we are craving Mexican food! Not sure about cross-contamination. The kitchen is very small and a bit crowded by about 3-4 cooks. The food is delicious. We have not noticed getting sick from their food. Just make sure you explain well that you want GF food and if possible, be there earlier than your pick-up time so that you could see and ask about your order e.g. is that corn tortilla or flour as they are preparing and/or packing.

The restaurant labels all their dishes as GF or not. I'm not sure about cross contamination. The staff was knowledgeable about Gluten and celiac.

Absolutely delicious food. Small kitchen so there is some risk of cross contamination but they are very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Absolutely and amazingly delicious!!! I can't say enough good things about Taqueria Maria's!!! There are plenty of gluten-free options that are clearly labeled. I would definitely take the half hour drive to eat there again! Woo-hoo... my son and I totally LOVED IT!!!

Delicious! Very careful and lots of gluten free options.

Wonderful food. Great flavors with a red sauce that is not spicy. Green sauce is spicy. I am extremely sensitive and I did not get sick. Only six tables but at 7 pm on a Friday night we didn't have any trouble getting seated immediately. Great family atmosphere. We plan to go back often!
