So thankful for Tasty Burger and the staff. They make GF easy and welcoming. Enables us to easily go with non-GF friends and everyone is happy. Makes for a normal night out for our celiac family.

I asked if I was going to die about 400 times — waiter was still nice — and I didn’t die!! No reaction - 🐷 went twice no hives !! Separate fryer for the fries 🍟 !!! Waiter said owners super into GF - so thats pretty cool!
Very excited! A dedicated GF fryer and gf bun in a tasty burger!

I got the Gorgonzola burger... And if you really like gorg you'll love this burger. The bun held up when I've had so many that just fall apart. I figured I wouldn't be able to get fries but he immediately said they were safe and still made sure to note it as an allergy. I haven't gotten a burger in fries out in years and I wasn't disappointed

Ordered online, very clear where you can request a gluten free bun and could also check a box for gluten allergy on the fries and the burger. My kiddo was happy!

Stopped here before a concert, got the turkey burger and fries. Burger was juicy and got truffle oil on the fries (my favorite!). Decently priced, and service was good. Only thing is it was very packed when I went (around 6 pm on a Wednesday) so I was literally bumping elbows with the people sitting next to me. Other than that, I’d definitely come here again. Didn’t feel sick after!

These are the best fast food burgers you can get. The restaurant has a similar model to five guys, but their food tastes better, has way more variety in terms of gluten free (they actually have gluten free buns) and it’s cheaper. There’s 4 of these in Boston and I haven’t had a bad experience with a single one of them. There are also two right next to the biggest sports stadiums in the city so if you don’t wanna deal with the hassle of getting gluten free food at the parks themselves you go can go here right before the game! Couldn’t recommend this place more if you want a good classic burger.

Waiter said fries and tots are in separate fryer. Burger looked like it was made on udis gf roll. Otherwise food was okay, nothing special, but didn’t get sick.

This location is right by Fenway which made it super convenient to eat at after a game or a concert and they are open late. Had a veggie burger (real veggies not an Impossible/Beyond substitute) with a GF bun. Tots and fries are safe which was awesome. Service is super fast!

Staff was knowledgeable. And I loved this “fast” food restaurant. Only thing I wish they would do is mark the GF burger better when it’s mixed in with non-GF burgers. (I ordered a Cheeseburger, sub for GF bun)

Burgers with gf buns and a separate fryer for tater tots and fries. A win win for this family.

We got two tasty burgers after the game last night and they were amazing! Sooooo good, highly recommend. The buns were clearly GF but were pretty good. Only flag is that I asked the server if the fries and tater tots were cooked in the same fryer as all their other fried stuff and he said they have one fryer for everything. FYI as I know there was some confusion in some of the other comments below.

Tasty hamburger and, of course, exciting to get to have fries! My stomach did start hurting while eating but nothing came of it…..so far. Fingers crossed. Update: I didn’t get sick so I’ll happily go back.

I ordered the Onion BBQ Burger and tater tots (yes, a restaurant that actually has gf tater tots!!!). The burger was delicious! The bun was soft and fluffy - almost reminded need me of a brand I buy for home). The caramelizarían on the onions was good; the bbq sauce was good although I wish there had been a little more. The tots were crispy on the outside soft in the middle - I wish the salt to tot ratio had been a little higher. My friend order the Gorgonzola Burger. It had onions and a really good sauce. She said the burger was cooked perfectly (as was mine) still pink & warm inside. It tasted fresh, delicious and she would go there again if she lived here. She got the fries - they were shoestring fries that were very basic -but she loves a chain sit down restaurant’s fries. Her order wasn’t gf. The burgers come wrapped in the coolest wrapper that has all options marked on them. I don’t live here but when I come to Boston, I will definitely come back! There’s a meal deal called the Students (or Businessman’s) Special: Burger, Fries and beer or wine for $10. There are also other bulk deals on the menu. A fresh burger is a great burger!

I don’t think the fryer is dedicated gluten free as some people report getting an onion ring in with fries. I don’t like to gamble so I went with just a burger. They even messed that up by some teenage worker bringing me a gluten free cheeseburger. They did say that the buns never touch the grill so the grill was gluten free by default. I would be cautious as the workers were overwhelmed and the fryer is not a dedicated gluten free fryer. Overall, the burger was ok-not amazing but did not get sick.

I tried tasty burger yesterday, it was indeed tasty. My downfall was the fries. I had just about finished then and found an onion ring at the bottom. I had asked if they had a separate fryer and they assured me they did. Today I am feeling very sick, stomach pain and bloat. the GF bun was good though but I would stay away from ordering anything else.

Ordered a burger on a gluten free bun. The bread tasted just like normal bread. Not like typical gf bread that falls apart or feels cakey. Fries were good too; nice and crispy and the perfect amount of fry to salt ratio. Would recommend.

They have the best GF hamburger buns I have ever tasted they don’t fall apart they’re amazing! The staff is very knowledgeable about what ingredients and which of their sauces contain gluten. The carmelized onions have gluten because they add a little bit of flour to them I was told. They don’t have a dedicated fryer for the fries, but they are GF and the tots as well. I have celiac and have never gotten sick from their fries. Great “tasty” burgers!

La gente que atendía el lugar fue muy considerada y tenían en claro todas las opciones. La hamburguesa muy rica y viene dentro de una caja de cartón. Muy recomendable.

In the past 3 years of coming here we’ve been told like a dozen times that the fries are gluten free and fried in their own oil. Today the sever tells me they’re not gluten free and have never been. I don’t know what the truth is but it’s really annoying that the staff doesn’t know either and acted like I was crazy.

Great burgers and GF buns. The fries were good, but where fried in a non gf dedicated fryer. Overall great and the waiters were friendly, knowledgable, and helpful.

Never been sick, actually decent gf buns
Live nearby and have loved this place since before I got my diagnosis. I was so happy to learn they offer GF buns, and they taste pretty good too! They also recently switched to a dedicated fryer for their fries, which is a nice bonus. I've been safe eating here even when ordering at the to-go window outside
Yes
I got the tasty burger and fries.. Told them I had a gluten allergy and as soon as I got home I felt very sick. Must have been cross contamination, but it doesn't seem like they take thing seriously. I definitely will not trust going to them again. So sad because it's always good to find a good gluten free burger while you're out with friends and not have to worry about getting sick. :(

I live across the street and frequent Tasty Burger often. They aren't lying when they say they make a tasty burger. Those with celiac (like me) do have to be careful. I've been contaminated a few times now, namely by the fries. Remind staff repeatedly to not put fries in the salt mill, as the onion rings which are not gf also go through the salt mill.
The burger, gluten free bun, and fries were delicious!! Service was quick and I did not get sick! Two thumbs up!!!! Atmosphere was a bit noisy.
Yes
The burgers are delicious and I have been assured that the fries are gluten free. My issue is that I found an onion string in my french fries the most recent time I ate here after being assured the onion strings and french fries were cooked in separate friers. Time will tell if I get sick.
Yes
Food was excellent at the Back Bay Station location and I was told I was able to get a gluten-free bun. I also ordered the French fries which I was also told were gluten-free but I got very sick 30 minutes after eating there.
Best burger buns in the Boston area! So nice to have something other than an Udi's bun on a burger for once.
Tasty Burger has a delicious gluten-free veggie burger! It's the best veggie burger I've had (gluten-free or not). Their turkey burger and fries are also excellent. The gluten-free buns are good - and very filling. They used to have really good gluten-free cookies, brownies, and blondies, but they don't have desserts any more.
Yes
Heads up that the onion rings are definitely not gluten free, at least at the Fenway location. They are battered with flour. The fries are gf and cooked separately. The buns are gf and df.
Yes
Ordered a burger with gf bun and it came out in a regular bun, I alerted the waiter of the mistake and he apologized and brought out the same burger in a gf bun 2 minutes later. I asked if it was the same burger and he said yes and I explained that I needed a new burger, he seemed very annoyed and made me feel like such a burden.
We were told by the server that the onion rings are now gf. The guy who delivered the food didn't know. We'll let you know if their is any reaction.
I love Tasty Burger and go fairly often when I want to eat out. However, the last time I was there, there was an onion string mixed in with my fries. It looks like they've gotten sloppy and are not careful about maintaining a separate fryer. I got sick so I won't be eating the fries anymore (sob). Burgers remain delicious but will now be more wary since I don't really trust the kitchen to be super careful.
No
Awesome! I was told the onion rings and the fries are in different fryers. I had the tasty burger and it was delicious on what looked like an Udis GF bun. Would definitely recommend.
Good safe burger!

Great family place for celiacs, with gf burger (incl. bun) and fries. Best burgers in Boston, which is saying a lot these days.

I was told the fries and frosties were gf so of course I had to try them. Burger and gf bun were great as well. Everything was delicious!
Delicious gluten free bun, with awesome burger

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries for pickup. The ticket had my allergies clearly marked on the ticket which is always a plus! Food was great for "fast food" and would go here again.

Came here at about 1015pm after a late flight, was staying in the area of Copley square and not much else was open. Came based on the reviews on FMGF.
Highly recommended!! Very safe, gf bun, confirmed fries were separate flyer and GF. Felt confident they took my allergy seriously. Food was delish! Had a double cheeseburger and fries and ketchup. All yum. Didn’t get sick and I’m super sensitive
