Tatte is one of our favorite cafe's in Boston. They have several locations and the food, service, and atmosphere is consistently enjoyable at all of them. The espresso beans they use is one of our favorites -- #Stumptowncoffeeroasters. The food and pastries are fresh and generous portions. They also have gluten friendly options. They do get busy during peak times, but the line goes fairly quickly.

It has it’s own GF menu with many different sandwiches and tarts. My daughter had a delicious sandwich for lunch.

They had great options, all of which were well marked. I usually have very little reaction to exposures from cross contamination and I have eaten gluten free food from gluten bakeries before but this was bad, I have felt sick all day. I wouldn’t recommend eating here if you have any level of sensitivity, let alone celiacs.

They have a whole menu of “gluten friendly” food options. If you have a severe gluten allergy or Celiac the menu says you should NOT eat there. Because of this I would say they do not have a gluten free menu or options. This is a great place for coffee or beverages though!

Absolutely not safe for celiacs. They use “gluten friendly”. The staff cheerfully “reassured” me that the ingredients were all gluten free - as if that made it safe. When I asked about preparation, a different person standing nearby said yes, that there was a good chance of cross contaimination. I sent the pavlova back. They assured me the shakshuka was gf because it was made in its own pan. I risked it and was up all night with GI issues. Not only is it not safe, but this business at all location either doesn’t know, doesn’t care! Or is trying to paas off “gluten friendly as gf. Absolutely not safe!

My daughter and I had a great experience here. She had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she ever had. I had the chicken salad on GF bread and it was excellent too. She had a lemon tart and I had a pistachio one. Both were excellent. I am a sensitive celiac and did not get sick. I highly recommend.

It is a bakery and restaurant. Lots of GF options and staff is very knowledgeable about GF. They do store GF items in/near the same case as other items. Great variety and large portions!

Tatte's menu is well labeled and they have a lot of gluten free options, but everything is displayed together so this establishment is not safe for those who are sensitive to cross contamination.
