no dedicated GF menu, however the staff is very knowledgeable and can make most entrees gluten free! Nothing fried of course, and the curries were a safe bet. I had the pineapple fried rice gluten free and it was amazing! Will be returning.

Update- I didn’t get sick so that is a positive!
I would give a 5 because I really love this place but tonight was really off. Our family goes here regularly. I have celiac disease and this is one place I have trusted to have gluten free meals that I can rely on as being gluten free and consistently made. In the past I have had good experiences and spoken to the servers about preparation and felt comfortable eating here. I have never eaten anything breaded as I was told there is no gluten free fryer and all breaded items contain gluten.
Tonight I ordered my regular Lake O Noodles GF. They were quiet a bit different then normal (salty and incredibly spicy). I found large chunks of chili’s in the meal (which it has never had before). I had a few bites and had to give it to someone else because it wasn’t right. Haven’t gotten sick yet and hope I don’t. However, the new and inconsistent preparation makes me doubt the new chefs awareness to consistency and/or contamination.

I asked if a dish was gluten free, because they have no labels on the menu. They said we can make it gluten free. Then it came out and I re-asked if it was made gluten free just to be sure. I waited while the waitress double checked with the cook. She came back and said yes it was made gluten free.
After two bites, I noticed that the fish appeared to be breaded, and I was concerned because a place that doesn’t have GF on their menu seems unlikely to have GF flour on hand, but maybe it was just rice flour...I almost didn’t say anything. But I asked a third time just to be sure.
It was wheat flour. And I have celiac. It’s really serious if I eat wheat. This isn’t an allergy. An autoimmune disease means that when I eat gluten my immune system goes into high alert and literally starts attacking my own body. Eating a bite of gluten for someone with celiac can cause gut pain, fatigue, etc. for days and up to a couple months.
The waitress told me, “Sorry the cook doesn’t know what gluten is.” That’s fine, but if your staff isn’t educated about gluten then just say that at the beginning. I’m not expecting every place or dish to accommodate my health needs.
I’m just asking for honesty.

I’m a super sensitive Celiac. The owner cannot tell me what ingredients are in the chili paste. Not a good sign. I have gotten sick 2x here and the last time I was very sick! They ‘claim’ their curries are gluten free. I want to trust them, but I’m scared to go back.
