Bad experience. Long story short, the waiter told us only order the items marked gf (makes sense), nothing else, but he refused to talk about celiac and safety. We ordered, and I saw that he hadn’t noted for an allergy so I asked if he could mark for an allergy so that they can at least change their gloves. He absolutely refused to mark an allergy, said the kitchen was too busy to change gloves and be careful. He said that they cannot guarantee that there won’t be cross contamination, which I understand as all restaurants cannot guarantee in a shared kitchen. He said not to eat there if we needed to be careful. Although people love this place, I don’t think it’s worth the risk of getting sick. Overall, he spoke to us in a rude manner, with no patience, and no care to allergies. I decided I didn’t feel safe, and opted to leave. When my family tried to order some food to go for themselves, the waiter told us the two small dishes would take 50 minutes to make. Pretty obvious he just wanted us to leave. I am sure the food would have been delicious, but it’s not worth the risk to get sick, and honestly he was so rude that i’d rather not give them our service.
