They were not able to make any side dishes gluten free and a few of the toppings that came with my entree were removed and not replaced with gf alternatives. I had the steak by itself for $78. Would not recommend.

Hands down the worst dining experience of my celiac husband’s life. He ordered gluten-free items from the unmarked menu while the six others in his group ordered the chef’s tasting menu. Chef sent the server back to indicate to the table that he would not serve the tasting menu unless everyone at the table ordered it. My husband spoke to the chef, who was very unaccommodating. He did not partake in the tasting menu and simply drank a glass of wine. The others in the party said the food was average and over priced. It is difficult enough to navigate the restaurant scene as a professional; the Apparatus Room took the word unaccommodating to new heights and is a must avoid.

Great experience here! Our server was really knowledgeable about the gluten free items, and checked on the one item he wasn’t sure on. Most entrees could be made with minimal substitutions. Overall, food was fantastic (crispy brussels sprouts are some of the best) and definitely did not have a reaction.

Our group of 10 had a prix fixe dinner that was truly outstanding! I was the only GF person in the party, but had others asking for to sample the dishes I was being served. Buffalo cauliflower, deviled eggs, fennel risotto, strawberry rhubarb Panna cotta... Roll me to the curb. Everything was delicious, fresh, and served with a wonderful table-side manner by the wonderful Roger!! Highly recommended!

For such a hip and cool looking new place, I was bummed to find out they are very knowledgeable or accommodating for good allergies.

I called ahead and was told they could accommodate my Celiac. We were seated at the bar and offered the bar menu. I went over the menu carefully with the bartender, who was knowledgeable and immediately able to tell me the chips and fries are not safe because they do not have a dedicated fryer. I ordered a burger with no bun and no sides. It was served on a wooden cutting board, ripe for cross contamination. In addition, it was served with the chips that are not gluten free. I did not eat my meal and did not order a replacement because I lost confidence in my ability to eat safely there, without cross-contamination. The manager was very apologetic and offered me bagged snacks from the hotel, so that I would not be hungry on my way to a concert. Hopefully this restaurant will take better care in the future to operate in a manner safe for those of us with Celiac. I left very disappointed, and hungry.
