The waiters were fantastic, brought out a gluten free menu and specifically noted gluten free while I was ordering and while bringing food out. Everything had an allergy marker when brought out. My partner (not gf) had a birthday and they brought him gluten free truffles so the table could share. Food is phenomenal, service is great, drinks are pretty good. 10/10 recommend.

I had a great experience at The Bancroft. The staff was very knowledgeable and could answer all of my questions. All of my food was tagged with an allergy marker, and they even have a separate toaster for the gf bread.

BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE
When it comes to this restaurant make sure to be your own advocate, because the staff does not fully understand the severity of allergies. I wanted to order a steak with a gluten and dairy allergy and I realized that I needed to ask about cross contamination on the grill. The waiter’s first response was nothing can occur because if the temp of the grill. Not impressed, I asked to speak with the manager. If I had not asked and put up a stink they would have never given me the option of having my steak pan seared. So if you want to have a steak as to have it pan sear so it is completely safe. The rest of my meal tasted very good and after advocating they made sure it was safe. If I come back I will make sure to ask the right questions.

I was blown away by the options on the gluten free menu and how attentive the staff was. Our waitress cleared everything I ordered with the chef to make sure it can be prepared gluten free AND cleared it again before bringing it out to me. Delicious food all around and they have GF desserts too! They were very careful about liquor too and modified a cocktail so I could order it. Overall very impressed. Worth every penny I spent!
Our experience started off great, our server told us gluten free foods / and allergy meals would be served with an allergy pick and NO chips to garnish our food
but when I was served my food... it came with chips all over it garnishing it With no allergy pick. I told the woman (not our server) and she said be right back... 2 minutes later I was brought out a “safe” plate. I asked our waiter and he said I think that’s the SAME one (aka not safe) long story short. The 3 allergy meals were comped and they sincerely apologized. I ate my new meal safely as did the others with allergies but honestly it was NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! Feeling super uncomfortable after that, and them being so unsure how that happened...
Went to dinner tonight found a very extensive gluten free menu,GF toast in place of rolls . along with 3 different gluten-free vodka’s ,beer and other spirits. High priced but food was well prepared dedicated gluten-free menu. Two options for gluten-free dessert.

Delicious farm-to-table steakhouse with an extensive gluten free menu. It was one of those menus that gave me trouble deciding because I am not used to so many options! Definitely a little on he more expensive side, but I would highly recommend. The food was prepared with a toothpick indicating 'allergy' and they even brought out gf bread! Can't wait to go back.
They are very careful and all items that are served are noted with a toothpick "allergy". Safe place to eat.
Food was excellent, staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

This is my go-to for a nice celiac-friendly meal. Very upscale, a bit pricy, but they have a separate gluten free menu and take allergies very seriously. And amazing food. The GF menu is pretty comprehensive with entrees, appetizers, and salads, and they notate on the dessert menu what can be made gluten free (creme brûlée!).
