Forewarning, I am only gluten sensitive! Had to have my Indiana peanut butter burger while driving through! It was delicious! The gluten free bun tasted just like a regular bun. Best fries I’ve had in a long time! And fabulous that you get really tasty queso with them! We went pretty early so it was a little confusing since there’s like a tiny restaurant side and a tiki bar side, but once we got seated our waitress was great!

Seafood nachos are not Gluten free that's coming from the chef when we went. There was a few things missing on the menu that took them a little time to address. Had a little cross contamination.

Our waitress also had celiac. They have a gluten free bun, dedicated fryer for the fries! The seafood nachos are also gluten free! Highly recommend this place!

Dedicated fryer, hand cut fries and GF buns. Always had good luck and good food.

Polite, GF-fries, fast. The woman who took our order over the phone double-checked that the fries are made in a dedicated drier and my partner’s bun bun came GF as requested. No notable reaction. :)

In a small town there aren’t a lot of options and this worked for us during a cross-country move. If we’re ever in town again, we’ll stop again.

I inquired about a gluten free menu with the waitress, and she said that pretty much anything could be made gluten free. If she had explained a little more as it was clear there were non gluten free battered items, I might have felt a little better ordering. That didn’t sound right that anything could be made gluten free so I ordered the crab queso with chips based off other reviews. She did say there was a separate fryer and gluten free buns and chips. The queso was very good. The atmosphere is a little odd but the food is very good.

Double checked to make sure there was still a separate fryer. The waitress was very knowledgeable and said they fry fries and chips in their own fryer separate from everything else. The queso is also gluten-free and was excellent! The volcano fries were good. Both the pulled pork and barbecue chicken are gluten-free. Their ranch is homemade and also gluten-free. They also have gluten-free buns.

Separate fryer for fries. Burger was on an udis gf bun and was very good. No complaints.

GF buns are great! Fries are fresh and fried in it’s own fryer. I love having a GF burger place I can go and eat like a normal person! Thank you!

Got the island burger and the volcano fries per the recs from another on this site. Amazing! Could have had just the fries for a meal! Burger was good, buns reminded me of Culver’s buns

The food was absolutely amazing! The volcano fries were delicious, but there is a lot. My husband and I shared it and were so full that I could vaguely eat my burger. The island burger was so good, the bun was very soft and light. I wish I had enough room to finish it! Their fries are cooked in a dedicated gf fryer.

The staff is so friendly! The fries are delicious and cooked in a separate fryer. The handmade burgers are great and the gluten free bun is soft and not dense. A place you have to eat when in town!

Bison burger was amazing! The French fries were gluten free! Any of their sandwiches can be made gluten free. Great people, great food!

I have a lot of food allergies and they were great about helping and feeding me. Very impressed.

This place is very good! Wonderful menu with lots of gf food to choose. Staff was very knowledgeable! Buns tasted as good as regular ones! Definitely a good gf place to eat!

The food is incredible and not just gluten free good, it’s just great. I honestly thought they messed up my order when they brought my meal. The buns should win an award for taste, I’ve never tasted gluten free bread or buns this good. This is now my go to spot when I come here for work. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m giving five stars as to not lower the rating the other person gave them. We drive out here in the middle of a rain storm to find out they could not make gluten free food. Their ceiling had caved in! So I’m leaving this review so people will phone first! 😊

I know this is crazy, but I've found a restaurant with GOOD gluten free food- and right here in Crawfordsville!Barefoot Burger is easily one of my favorite places to eat and a huge family favorite! Their burgers, sandwiches, salads, apps, and everything are AMAZING and their fries are the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of french fries, haha) and they're bottomless :) I'm in school now but, I swear, I come back to this place at least once, sometimes twice every weekend that I'm home.The staff is sweet and kind and the owner occasionally comes out of the kitchen to check on you- they are all so considerate!Not only are they allergy conscious, but they're safe for celiacs. I have been here several times over the past couple years and never gotten sick! I don't know how they do it with such incredible food, but my sister and mom are as sensitive as it gets and we have been taken care of so well by this staff! We love it and hope it never leaves :)
