I am so disappointed by this restaurant!!! They USED TOO have the best GF options, now they do not!!!! 😢 They have since gotten a new chef and management and they took away most of their Gluten Free options! Don’t bother going there anymore, there are so many better places now. Sorry 😞 I am so happy we found this place! They not only have a regular GF menu for adults, but they also had GF children's options and GF desserts. When they took our order they asked if we were GF for an allergy, which is so nice to see that they trained their staff in this way. While we were there we also found out that the head chef is Celiac which was an amazing comfort. It is so rare to find a restaurant with a dedicated fryer and we will definitely be back. The fish and chips and fried calamari both GF were delicious.

They were good but they have eliminated the dedicated fryer and all the best gf good. No more fries, calamari, crab cakes etc. we were sad.

Update- new management has eliminated the dedicated fryer and limited the gf menu- it’s fine and the dishes offered were good/ but no longer exciting sadly. That said hubby did like the lobster risotto and the tuna appetizer and scallop appetizer were lovely.

I used to come here and order their calamari and wings. It is now under new Management and they've, to their credit, informed me these items are not safe, and never were. The rice flour blend they used was 'low gluten', not gluten free.

I'm really glad they told me this, but also dismayed that I was misled in the past. Its important that they are upfront about this and it's not marked GF on the menu anymore. However, its equally important to note here on the site that these options are no longer viable for sensitive or Celiac guests.

They have Titos and one cider but limited options for drinks otherwise.

Not too many options, mostly salad and a few appetizers. One entree (salmon)

Eh... I will say manager was fantastic as there was an issue with my food. Had calamari and ate some of the fish and chips from the table as I never got my meal. Was very good however paid the price that night and next day. Think it was cross contaminated.

What a great find! We are traveling the North East Coast and decided to spend the day meandering through the Cape. Happened upon this place and WOW! You have to try the Clam Chowder, the Calamari, and the Flatbread (we had the scallop version on the daily special). I wish we had more room to try other items! Cider and a full bar available, knowledgeable staff, nice atmosphere...worth the drive!

Service was good and lots of gf options, both my mom and I are celiac and got pizza. Mom didn’t feel good after eating, tested leftovers with Nima and came back gluten found.

MANY gf options here. Server was very good about asking if it was for an allergy or sensitivity. My daughter had the calamari appetizer and a special. Raved about both. There is an upcharge for GF breads or pizza, but it is worth it. This is a keeper.

I've eaten here several times and have been very happy each time. This past weekend I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes. YUM!!! Many items on the menu are GF--I had trouble choosing! They have a dedicated fryer, so my husband ordered GF fries so I could taste them (he is not GF) and they were fantastic. Server couldn't have been better. So nice to have an option besides plain salad or grilled fish. I have celiac disease and did not get sick. Yay! Also have a shellfish allergy, which they took very seriously.

The owner and our server were very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination as the chef has celiac! So many gluten free choices! My 8 year old had pizza and French fries with no issues. Would definitely go back.

All of the desserts are gf - creme brûlée, chocolate cake! Real crust for pizza. Waitress told us chef is celiac. Lots of options. Even brought out gluten free bread and dipping oil for us.

They had a wide range of GF options to choose from. My husband (who is pretty sensitive) felt sick after though. He had the calamari and the fish and chips. He believes the calamari was to blame.

One of the best and safest restaurants. Staff is very knowledgeable. the chef is celiac and knows how to prepare food for cross contamination. I’ve never had so many choices from apps to entrees!!! Food was delicious and the restaurant ambiance was unique, rustic and lovely! I will be eating here many times during my vacation! I highly recommend this restaurant!

So good we went twice during our week long vacation! Lots of gf options and they were able to help with my moms multiple food allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, soy). The gf bread and separate oil was awesome and definitely worth an extra $2!

Sunday brunch. The menu was well-marked and the wait staff appeared knowledgeable. There were not a significant number of gluten free items on the brunch menu, however, one of the two specials (huevos rancheros) was gluten free. The food was excellent.

Excellent gluten free foods and a wide selection. Very nice presentation. Warm gf bread was a nice treat! The gluten free clam chowder was amazing! Only things preventing a 5-star rating was our server wasn't as attentive as he could have been, and the prime rib dinner was only lukewarm.

Delicious! With the exception of around 7-8 items the whole menu was gluten free. There were options like fried calamari(SO GOOD), clam chowder, fried fish, and fries that are hard to find. Staff were very careful, the chef is celiac so there was no cross contamination. There are lots of gluten free desserts too!

A pretty good size gf menu and clearly labeled (which makes things so much easier). Gluten free clam chowder which was good. Burgers, fish tacos, and other good options. General American bar food.

Amazing! They do staples very well, but our favorite thing was the most adventurous thing we tried - calamari in siracha sauce over Asian slaw. It was the best thing we have had in years!!! It was very busy on a Saturday in May - during the actual tourist season you would definitely want to make reservations.

If anyone is ever in the Cape cod area, there is a restaurant in Orleans called the Barley Neck Inn (BNI) and the chef has celiac. For the first time since my 14 year olds diagnosis with celiac two years ago, he was able to share his appetizer (buffalo wings) with cousins. Not only did they have an extensive amount of gluten free options on their menu, they were part of the general menu and not made separately. So there weren't 'gluten' and 'gluten free' options, all of the wings were gluten free. Highly recommend this spot!!

What a great restaurant!! Cozy, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent GF selection! GF items are noted right on the regular menu. Clam chowder, calamari, fish tacos, pizza, rolls for burgers, many great entree items, and so much more! And, we had flourless chocolate cake and GF baked Alaska (wow!!). I highly recommend this awesome restaurant!! You won't be disappointed!!
