This place just revamped their menu and most of the menu is gluten free. The food and service is really good.

Food was mediocre at best. However, they took me having celiacs seriously and we’re also extremely accommodating of my husband who has other dietary restrictions. Great for a family outing if you’re ever in the area!

My family has eaten at this establishment multiple times. I have a number of food intolerances and sensitivities including a gluten allergy. Currently, I am also on a low FODMAP diet due to GI requirements. The Executive Chef Joe is amazing and so is the staff! We mentioned to our server that I had a number of food restrictions, allergies and intolerances (GF, LF milk and cheese, nut allergies and some other allergies along with garlic, onion and some other restrictions). The server brought out the Chef who was extremely accommodating and took his time to explain options and create a safe, made to order meal for me. Now we have a great rapport with the Chef and know to call ahead whenever we plan to dine at The Charles and how to order safe options for me. Our whole family has dined here a number of times and we have all had very delicious meals. I have never had any GI issues when we’ve dined here. Before I was diagnosed with SIBO, I was diagnosed with celiac disease and have been fine every time I’ve eaten here!

Menu is clearly labeled. Server always asks if there is any food allergies. They are knowledgeable about cross contamination and what it means for a food item to be prepared truly GF. Highly recommend. Everything on the menu is beyond amazing. Some of the best food around in general, and the fact they accommodate for GF is amazing. Cannot say enough good things about them.
