Excellent! The brisket, potato salad and spicy beans were all delicious. The jalapeño guava margarita was amazing too. I didn’t have any bbq sauce as there was worsteshire sauce in it and not all brands are gluten free. We sat at the bar and our bartender was great too. This was my favorite meal that we had on the island.

We were seated at 6pm but they were already sold out of many of the gf options. The pulled pork was half burned and the rest of the food simply didn’t taste that good.

DELICIOUS! As a native Kansas City girl who loves BBQ, the pork and sausage as part of the sampler platter really hit the spot. My server brought out the allergen menu for me to look over and cross check ingredients for each item. I'm not 100% sure, but I worry the ribs may have had the gluten BBQ sauce on them by default.

Food is incredible. Our best meal on the big island and the staff is very knowledgeable of allergens. They have a handy reference chart for all the menu items and dressings.

Good is delicious. Got the brisket with no sauce and then put the only gluten free sauce they have on it which is the Panioli BBQ sauce which is at the table.
The nachos and fries are not gluten free because they are fried in the shared fryer.
They do not have a separate gluten free menu. When I asked they brought me a menu that has a checkmate if it is gluten free, but might need to check since things like the nachos say they are gluten free.
Server was very nice. Extremely popular restaurant. We had over an hour long wait.
Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but if you have celiac you have to be very careful l.

The frier is shared so if you have Celiac it is not safe. The only bbq sauce that is safe is the Paniolo sauce. If you use their gf list as a guide, be sure to double check with the server. We had the chopped pork with potato salad and rainbow coleslaw. It was all delicious!

Need to be a little careful with the bbq sauces but I had brisket (no sauce) and fries and sailed thru unscathed. I’m celiac and pretty sensitive, so this was a great find.

Very accommodating and gracious staff who can provide a list of the items containing gluten/not, as well as cross-contamination information. I thought they had quite a few excellent choices. In our case, we got the baby back ribs, potato salad, and fries, and all were excellent. But as another reviewer mentioned, nachos would have been safe as well, along with fish and chicken and pork dishes. Just not the fried items (other than French fries). The food quality was excellent and the service was warm and welcoming. They really worked together well as a team. Our server, Holly, was excellent, she guided us through and checked on us periodically and was just very personable and helpful. Really enjoyed this experience. We were on our way back from Waipio Valley overlook to Kona and it’s a pretty long drive from Kona but I’d consider it again because it was that much fun. Highly recommend it.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Many menu items were gluten free. I ordered the nachos and they were delicious. I would definitely come back.

Cheerful little unassuming restaurant. No dedicated menu but they have a list of foods and the allergens. Double check with your server before ordering.
