Found them with this app while on vacation. Food is great. Dedicated gluten free restaurant. They also have original location in Cambria. It is literally a shack with limited menu and only outdoor seating. We ate at both locations. Love the blue corn waffles, sweet or savory. They do NOT have sugar alternatives for your coffee.

I’ve been here a few times and I love it so much!! They’re totally gluten free so there’s no worries about cross contamination, plus the food is amazing. I’ve only had the waffles, but they have tacos and protein bowls too. The smoothies are also good, and the atmosphere is really cute.

Spoiler: This place is a must-try location if you are in the area. My wife is celiac, I have a gluten intolerance, and we both have issues with dairy. Needless to say, finding places to eat can be a challenge. I believe staff said everything on the menu is gluten-free which helps avoid cross contamination, and there are lots of dairy free items as well. The staff was very sweet and very knowledgeable. Nice atmosphere and right by the beach, so we got ours to go and ate on the beach. There was a line when we got there but it moved fast, and we got our food within 15 minutes.

We tried the San Luis Sunrise waffle and the Mannix Machaca Breakfast Tacos, and we were floored. The blue corn waffle is slightly sweet and has great texture, which is perfectly balanced by the savory toppings. The tacos were also excellent. We should have split a waffle, it was a lot of food. My wife and I were very happy with our experience. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in the area and would likely go out of our way to come here. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

This tiny outdoor restaurant was fun - even in the rain! Great service, awesome food. I love 2.5 hours away and am brining a friend here I liked it so much! Creative recipes well presented. Yea, as good as all the reviews say! My husband got a savory waffle and I got a sweet then we shared. But next time I am going to let my sweet tooth reign and go all sweet! A real treat for a celiac!

Amazing lunch spot! Our family has visited twice for lunch during our short trip to the area. We were optimistic when we told our non-GF cousin who grew up in the area that we would come here for a safe GF lunch, and she exclaimed that it’s a great restaurant.

They serve blue corn tacos (fresh, soft and thick) and blue corn waffles, with a variety of tasty savory and sweet toppings. Everything was absolutely delicious. There is a lot of food! I thought we might not be able to eat it all, but plates were happily cleaned.

Most of the tables are on an outdoor patio across the street from the beach, which is charming and bustling. There are several tables indoors as well. When we came on a sunny Sunday the place was quite busy (though the wait was reasonable), and on a foggy Monday it was quieter but still popular.

Delicious. All gluten free. No worries! Carnitas tacos were delicious and only at the Cayucos location. The reg waffle was good. Want to try the churro version next time in Cayucos. Order outside then walk in or through to the outdoor patio. They will bring you your order when ready.

Wish I could give this place 6 out of 5 stars! One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I also have a dairy allergy and they were easily able to accommodate that - their waffles/tacos have no dairy unless you elect for the butter topping. The sauce does have eggs but that fortunately isn’t an issue for me. Sad that we were just passing through and I won’t get to go back before leaving town!

This was an experience. It was a sunny day and the patio was so charming. My husband cannot have soy but the HK sauce is made with avocado oil so he was thrilled to have the sauce. The waffle with strawberries and banana almost made me cry - reminded me of crepes I used to eat pre-celiac. The carnitas taco was delicious and I loved all the fresh slaw on top. Organic ingredients and delicious food. Stop here!

This place is awesome and is dedicated GF. I had a savory blue corn waffle with bacon avocado and eggs and a smoothie. It was so good. They also have sweet waffles and bowls. The waffle was a large serving, so I couldn’t finish everything. There was a lot of bacon and it is really good bacon. They have a patio in the back that is cute. My husband and sister are not GF and they loved it too.
