When I visited the Keg, I was actually not the most careful with my diet (I am celiac and now am extremely careful). I was pleasantly surprise to see the manager personnaly come to my table and assure me the chef was taking precautions in the kitchen to ensure my food could be as safe as possible. It made me trust this place! The steak was delicious!

Super expérience du début à la fin! Le serveur allait toujours double vérifier avec la cuisine. Presque tout peut etre adapté sans gluten! Petoncles en entree et steak et patate farcie en repas principal. Délicieux!

The Keg franchise has their menu by allergen online which was helpful. The server was very willing to check with the kitchen to be sure about any items and when the expo brought the food she referenced the gluten allergy and confirm this plate was ok.

When I explained I was celiac the manager came to speak with me. He said the spices they use on the steak are a may contain so I asked for it without and he assured me they would scrape the grill and just add salt and pepper to my steak instead. It was delicious and I was not ill afterwards. I am usually very sensitive to cross contamination.

They care a lot about customer experience, the manager came to explain what were the menu options available. The waitress was also very aware of the spécifications and how they can adjust the menu to celiacs. Very comforting, strongly recommend!

Went for a late-night supper. Waiter was knowledgeable about celiac and then manager passed by the table to reassure us that the kitchen staff had been advised of my celiac requirements and would take excellent precautions to avoid cross contamination. Excellent steak, Caesar salad was modified for no croutons, and baked potato was on point. Really nice experience 🙂

We are there outside, a table of 8. They were (as usual) conscientious of my celiac and the food was wonderful and I didn’t get sick. We love this restaurant.

Delicious food and informed staff. When you tell them you’re celiac they send out a manager to explain the precautions they take and reassure you. It’s great to have a worry-free steak dinner!

Unfortunately this review is coming an entire year later. I really wanted to avoid chain restaurants but I'm so happy I made it here. I can't remember what I had for dinner but I know it was good. When I told my waiter I had celiac disease he went & got the manager. The manager! This was customary! She then spoke with the kitchen about my order, returned to me & gave the ok. I was very impressed. If I ever make it back to Montreal I'm definitely coming back here.

Great meals, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Manager on duty came to my table to confirm GF food order, and that the message had been passed to the kitchen.

It's a bit pricey but highly recommended for a safe and enjoyable meal out.

This was the most comfortable I've felt eating in a restaurant since my diagnosis. As others have mentioned, someone comes out to explain CC procedures, and the staff is generally very knowledgeable. The server explained why the prime rib was GF at 10oz but not at 14oz (crispy onions were included but not listed on the 14) and made the modification so I could have the larger cut. But most importantly, the food was delicious and I had zero symptoms after.

Higher end steak house that catered to whole family. Dedicated gluten free menu (though does warn that it is not dedicated gluten free kitchen). Family had steak, twice baked potatoes, Thai chicken, and creme brûlée. Kids menu too. All food was very good. Would go back.

Great treat at the end of a shopping trip and a favourite for any special occasion. High end food in a relaxed dining room for a reasonable price. Gluten free menu makes it so everyone can enjoy!

I had the filet mignon. It was very good. The menu had gluten-free options marked. The servers seemed knowledgeable to allergens. The only issue was when they brought out my food they were actually holding two plates and the plate above mine had gluten containing items. I had no issues.

Great experience dining with a celiac. The Keg takes allergies seriously. Once we arrived at our table, we told the waitress about the allergy (celiac). She responded with the items he could order. The manager is notified and delivered the food. This is standard procedure there now. I was very impressed with the service and care. Of course the food was amazing!
