Avoid this place at all costs!!! they do not care much about the gluten free aspect. i told them i am celiac and for every course they brought out the gluten one and said “let me go grab the gluten free one real quick” did not feel safe at all eating any of the food. asked for just fruit with the chocolate and the strawberries had crumbs of something on it. super disappointed and will never ever be coming back. i do not think they should have the GIG certification.

they had lots of gf options but i felt sick immediately after eating the full courses of the meal. i am on the more sensitive side of celiac so if you aren’t as sensitive or just have a gluten allergy definitely go for it!

Safe food gluten wise, but you have to cook your own meat, which I find weird because I paid $80. I've never cooked duck and I was nervous the whole time because I don't know the proper meat temperature for it or how red it's supposed to be. Maybe I'm not skilled enough to eat here, but I'm worried I might have undercooked my own food. The experience for the cheese fondue was great, but I'd never get the meat again.

San Antonio Melting Pot was SUPER about me being GF. I was the only one at a table of 7 and they made sure everything from my cheese course, to my main course, all the way to my dessert, was completely taken care of. Every time I tried to ask/remind our waitress about GF, she was always one step ahead of me. I was super impressed!!
My favorite place for dessert! They can bring you pound cake, brownies, marshmallows and fruits to dip in! Excellent option

I love the Melting Pot!! The GF desserts are the best part!
Enjoyable and very safe! Never had a problem eating here!!
Never on my radar, BUT I read an article by Gluten Free Dad about how it is Gluten free safe spot certified by an independent company. We were surprised at how well versed the employees were the variety offered. So far no one has gotten sick. Everything is brought/made in front of you by you and everything was labeled on the menu. The dessert was the best! GF brownie and cookie that weren’t hard as a rock. I doubled checked with the waitress every time and she wasn’t annoyed by my questions!

The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Almost all of the cheeses could be made gluten-free, they had gluten-free bread to dip in the cheese, and gluten-free brownies and snickerdoodles to dip in the chocolate. Amazing experience and didn’t get sick!

Menu has labels for GF options. When I’m able to have an appetizer, main course AND dessert at dinner I appreciate it. They have GF bread for cheese dip appetizers. And GF brownies for chocolate dip dessert and (for a small up charge) macarons! Don’t sleep on The Melting Pot!

Wonderful gluten free experience. Very knowledgeable staff and the food was delicious. There’s really barely any difference between the gluten and non gluten platters.

Our waiter seem very well informed. He reviewed the menu with me to ensure that I knew what could be offered gluten-free as food came out to the table. They confirmed what was gluten-free. We had our own pot to cook in separate to the people that we were with, I would definitely eat here again
